TJ(Mexico) Prices Rule!

This thread is for everyone that is close to Mex. Just got back from TJ las weekend and was like a kid in a candy store. Couldnt believe the prices on gear! Was really happy. I will from now on when I am close to the border always cross and bring back gear. I drove through with a buddy and customs did not even do jack squat( talked to them for about 1min, there to busy lookin for illegal immigrants). But be cautioned, dont be dressed like a lifter if your gonna carry gear back, thats what they look for. I have in the past ordered through mail, but gear sometimes gets caught by customs. Anyways just really satisfied, any other border stories out there guys?

Crossing the border and getting caught scares me. Do you guys think you have a better chance of getting caught by a controlled delivery or by a border guard?

I wore regular loose clothes, nothing that showed to much muscle.

I think you have a better chance of getting busted by controlled delievery( I have recieved two letters) unless you walk across and not drive(drive if u can)

SEIZURE letter yes, those ARE NOT THE SAME as CONTROLLED DELIVERIES...

If you think its cake, keep going and pushing your luck...You WILL get pulled into secondary at some point (or worse getting grabbed by the "Mexican police" (that is where the REAL problems come in ) and you will be pissing your pants then wishing you had listened to THIS ADVICE:
Unless bringing back a large amount it ISNT worth the risks...

So what if you saved $100 on all that stuff, do you have ANY IDEA what could have happened? There are SO MANY things that can happen to the novice...But you sound like you've got it ALL down now , so just keep going, eventually though you WILL wish you had listened to me.......Mark my words

NO, and I have crossed items over DOZENS of times ...So I KNOW what its like down there and I also KNOW how it works...

And TRUST ME when I say its NOT worth the risks...

I did have to pay off a cop once for my buddy turning the wrong way on a 1 way street...But when I went into the graneros I was basically "protected" from Policia by the shop owners...They REALLY liked me
