The Mike Tyson Fight And Gyno.....

bazilbb said:

u definitely missed his interview, he mentioned his routine when telling about his back injury.
"i was doing 2500 situps daily with a 25lbs plate in hands!"

i dont mean he is in best shape of his life but he is definitely focused to be, more then ever IMO. and he was mentioning again and again that he is not prepared enuf to fight lewis, but he will try to get prepared for some fight in future, his style was very good when the round started he reminded me of old tyson. i hope he gets whatever he plans to.
now the way he was openly stating the truth about his real opponant makes u think that he does have a chance if he stays fucused like he is at the moment.
i wish him best of his luck.

for the record that was a 20lb plate lololol

"What kind of injury Mike, vertebrae?
-"No.......spinal."

LOLOL I was like, someone should tell him not to discuss anything without contacting his lawyer first LOLOL

As far as the fight being fixed- as was alluded to, there's probably not much need to really put a fix in when a guy's just out for a quick payday before he retires. Happens all the time. You have to realize that those punches near the end of a guy's career are really fucking up a guy's brain. If you get clocked pretty good near the end of your career then you should do the smart thing and stay the hell down. No need to take shave a couple of IQ points off just for your pride. Look at Riddick Bowe- Golota practically turned the guy into a retard over the course of what, 2 fights? (There were some analysts who literally felt that Bowe was punished so severely in those fights that it caused serious brain damage.)

As far as Tyson not taking anything- I seriously would be surprised if Tyson was not taking anything. I've read of people being on vacation in Hawaii, out on the beach partying, and the guy- in training camp right before fighting Lewis- walks up to them and starts partying and smoking pot with them. He doesn't sound to me as if he's too worried about drug testing (or even taking training very seriously for that matter).

Hell, even Fernando Varga tested positive for steroids. Look at that guy, he's built like a tennis player at best. Those guys have to do a LOT of endurance work.

Look at Chuck Finley, a baseball pitcher who's ex has claimed she saw him injecting steroids and said he bragged about how easy it was for him to beat the test.

I can also tell you it's pretty obvious that certain football players who have mysteriously extended their careers beyond normal expectations are juicing as is Barry Bonds.

Also, something else funny: I remember, I guess it would have been a few years ago now, that on the Howard Stern show they were making fun of another guy Tyson was fighing and his big fat titties. Between those two guys, and all the requests for matches with Butterbean and Tua, Tyson could make a career out of just fighting guys with tits.

Well, I believe he may have been bragging about the tests that are planned. Not sure, but here is part of the article from http://thesmokinggun.com
............................................
Firing back at her baseball star husband, Tawny Kitaen contends that Cleveland Indians pitcher Chuck Finley is a heavy boozer who frequently smokes marijuana, injects illegal steroids, and has "bragged" that he knows how to "get around drug testing within the baseball league." Kitaen leveled these charges in a May 1 declaration filed in the couple's ongoing divorce case in California's Superior Court (the declaration was filed in connection .............

The actual divorce petitions are in the archives there also.

It don't impress me one bit to see Tyson fighting fighters with no skills and knocking out no namers.

The thing with Mike is you have to wear him out a bit (a few rounds) and his power stamina is no longer there.

I taller fighter with long arms like Lewis would kick his ass again, as Mike can't get in close enough as Lewis is much taller and faster

After the first few rounds Mike's done! his stamina is shit anymore as he don't train hard as he used to.

1. Etienne isnt a no-namer, he was 24-1 coming into the fight
2. Lewis may be taller, but no way is he as fast as Mike
3. He may not train as hard as he used to (meaning his brutal workouts of the 80's), but you cant slack off in training if you are a pro boxer. I've heard Mike runs 5 miles and jump ropes for 30 minutes a day, not to mention his boxing work & lifting.

Mike has gone and can go the distance, he has just historically not had too. He's won decisions (in the rare fights that he didnt knock someone out).

Lennox Lewis took 8 rounds of a 12 round fight to beat him.

Buster Douglas knocked Tyson out in the 10th round right after Tyson had knocked him down for a long 9 count.

Tyson is 50-4, 44 KOs. Greatest boxer ever with ease. Would be around 70-1 without his jail time & 1 year ban. Dont hate b/c you cant relate.

And as for the steroid issue, its up in the air on Tyson. He was 200lbs at 13. He's 225-235 at 36. 25-30lbs in 23 years doesnt exactly scream 'roid monster'.
