Kakdiesal, when I first read your post it pissed me off and I WAS going to flame you for suggesting that personal responsibility was a choice that could be overlooked once fame,success,or money was achieved. None of those factors should ever give the celebrated more rights than the average citizen.
But, you are right, unfortunetly. The media deitization of todays celebrities-no matter how lame- has given them the right of "unaccountability" and we accept it because they're rich and famous. It's sad because your outlandish statement in 2001 is true.Why should someone have to admit responsibility when their status affords them protection from their actions?
