That was execrable, and yeah the Pixies imitation is pretty obvious. Curt Cobain was a lot better at taking his Pixies influence and doing something original with it.

Nope, just a fanboy. I own a guitar, but never learned a single riff.
I've been playing guitar since 1966, but I still suck. Typical Baby Boomer guitarist -- no chops, vintage gear, great tone.
The first comment under the video was "white stripes rip off". Stupid kids.
Bob Seger live should be pretty epic. I'm more excited by some of the lower tier bands on the list though.
Not currently, but in the past, violin and guitar. Had some drums that I played with, but never really learned anything substantive. Had a home studio with an ADAT and stuff back in the day, too.
