Starting Back Up

Greeting all

After about a six year absence of not lifting, I've finally regained that spark and joined WorldGym. I can remember being totally dedicated as a person who wanted to be in the best shape physique wise. However, due to lifestyle changes I lost that and have sense gotten well out of shape. I must have gained close to 70 pounds during my hiatus from the gym. Of course I'm bummed out about this. It's been six years! What do you recommend as a program for me to get back in shape and feel good about myself again? It seems as though I am totally out of touch as to what's going on as regards to equipment, meals, supplements and a program that will gradually get me back into shape. I need some advice. Thanx.

Welcome back!

A couple quick opinions:

Start off light, dont kill yourself coming back in. Try some thermogenics, they help you to burn fat and supress your appetite. Do cardio for 20 minutes before training. Keep your reps high. Train the whole body at each workout for 3 weeks as a break in, 3 days per week. One set of squats/leg press, one set of rows, one set of bench press, one set of curls, one set of military presses and one set of calf raises. get the muscles used to being worked again.

Best of luck! My $.02
