I just spent a week down in the Smoky Mountains with some Harley friends of mine, and my God I had a good time with the women down there. We do this trip every year, but this was my first time doing it as a single man. Southern women just seem so relaxed, fun, interesting. Sure alot of them are missing teeth and such, but looking past that they are awesome.

Ask them to dance, didn't get turned down once. They love to talk (really talk, like have an actual conversation) and can take a joke or a bad pickup line in the manner it was meant and not get insulted or act bitchy or snobby. They give out kisses and hugs like compliments and have very few inhibitions. Northern women seem cold and uptight and just snotty by comparison. I had more fun in one week with the women there than I have in two years of dating and flirting with women from home.

Maybe I just live in a bad area up north, maybe southeast PA is full of bitch women, but damn what a contrast. I'm half thinking of moving down south, for real.

People around my area are very friendly and courteous for the most part. We still open doors for people, say thank you all the time, and even wave while driving past another car in the country.

Southern women have their benefits... but remember this: Picture the cutest, nicest, sweetest, most easy-going girl you met last weekend. Then realize that it would be 5 years *after* you marry her that you actually get to see the real her.

Where all did you visit?

We stay in Maggie Valley every year, then ride all over the place. This year rode to Chimney Rock, Deal's Gap (of course), Gatlinburg, rode alot of the parkway, got lost somewhere south of the Smokies, heh. I have always had fun down there, but usually when we go to the bars I would behave and hang with the guys playing pool and such (I was always married before). It's much more fun being single down there, LOL. Man, I'm still jazzed about it.


Met this one girl (well, lots, heh), Katerina, I can't get her out of my head. She put a spell on me or somethin. She was brains and beauty all rolled into one blonde haired physically fit Jeep lovin' horse riding log cabin owning on 10 acres of hillside out gazing at stars on her porch absolute dream of a woman.

And then there was Linda from Texas, Wanda from Waynseville, Meredith with the broadway singing voice, Leah the Mariah Carey dancing beauty, Thumper (I don't even remember her real name) and a half dozen others I messed with, all fun loving girls. I sound like a slut, ahahah.

You girls from the south could teach north girls a thing or two about enjoying life IMHO. I'm gonna go out this weekend and just swing away, laughing at the contrast I'm sure. Maybe I'll find a southern girl who is visiting, LOL.



I thought my experience last year in the Outer Banks with women was just a fluke, being along the shore and all, now I actually think it's just a southern thing. And I think I like it, maybe I'm in the wrong half of the country...

That's cool. I live 45 minutes away from Gatlinburg and fairly close to Chimney Rock. It's beautiful country. Especially up towards western North Carolina. If I didn't have to work for a living I'd def. move there.

That's cool. I live 45 minutes away from Gatlinburg and fairly close to Chimney Rock. It's beautiful country. Especially up towards western North Carolina. If I didn't have to work for a living I'd def. move there.

Chimney rock was awesome. I really wanted to hike to the falls but we didn't have the time. Fontana Dam was cool too. Those huge chutes just make you want to jump down them for curiousity's sake.

Yeah, that is good stuff. You can rent a little cabin with a hot tub on the front porch overlooking the mountains when the leaves have all turned colors. HEAVEN

I went horseback riding once, and we rode through a little pass that had all these overhanging branches. Colored leaves were falling everywhere like snow. It was the most gorgeous horseback riding ride I had ever had. Resplendent!
