Once a zombie makes it in the water I think they'd basically be lost and then eaten. They'd pollute the water and unleash zombie piranha and then the whole ecosystem would be fucked.

and wtf there are already ninja zombies? if zombies are well coordinated enough to open doors or swim, no way they can be ninjas. fail.

Does it say if you can cook and eat zombie meat? I'm sure some spice would take care of the rotten taste and the heat should kill off any infection if done right.

apparently there's several variables

Factors that would include environmental temperature, moisture, availability/need for sustainance, terrain, and a host of other things.

You also run the risk of zombies in ideal situation or late turned survivors dragging the total population's survival out well beyond the potental or average lifespan of any one zombie.

Truely dead zombies are, of course, impossible. Without cellular regeneration, your joints would shut down in days. Without digestion there could not be movement or internal heat (causing blood to thicken and stopping flow).

Now, a rage zombie could last for a few weeks, so long as it maintained a desire to drink and possibly months if it drinks and eats (in mild climates).

I would think that the first month or two would be heavy, as there would still be abundant food about. After then, the population should decline faster as (1) they starve and (2) they wander out into the countryside, where they would be shot.

im not good with gruesome or scary. Im all tough and macho on here, but the truth is....im kind of a scaredy cat, I cant even handle watching zombies on TV(unless its scooby doo)
