Smoking some weed from time to time

I like to smoke it at night for sleep purposes. As I am getting older I always think about the risk of heart issues, concidering juicing makes it grow and the coronairy artery is alone about bloodsupply.

What do you guys think? Dangerous? Positive? Does it matter? Mixing it with Tobacco, worse?

Anyone else using recreational for sleep purposes etc?
 
alcohol, weed, tobacco, etc etc. its all negative as far as i'm concerned.

Arnold back in the day would need an oxygen tank after a workout. when i have a tough workout I am huffing and puffing. you need your lungs to be working at full force. smoking weed or cigarettes makes it harder to breathe, hence it will hurt your workouts and recovery pure and simple. i think it is a MAJOR negative and why we don't discuss recreational drug use on this board!

and please people dont insult my intelligence and say weed isn't as bad as cigarettes. puhleeze. i dated a girl who smoked weed and she had a cough like a 70 year old man and was coughing up yellow crap all the time.
 
Yes, I smoke. Not much but enough to sleep and up my appetite. An 8th will last me two weeks. I'm in California, so I have a medical recommendation and am not breaking any laws. Federally speaking, I've heard Eric Holder, USAG say he isn't going after peoples meds, rather the lawbreakers cultivating more than 99 plants. Sorry, no source on the quote, but damn, it must suck to live outside of CA when prohibition has proven to be a huge failure.
 
I used to smoke(cigs & weed), I found after I quit it felt like a recovered faster, more energy for workouts, more strive to get to the gym, my diet is cleaner (no bad munchies) I think if you want to take your health and fitness serious then a person should steer clear of both, if they are just doing some recreational training to feel better about themselves..then well, .....its your choice either way but def not advised.

Funny you should mention Arnold, because he smoked weed regularly (see pumping iron) as did many of theOlympians then.

Weed doesnt have to be smoked, you can eat it too, if your so worried about losing your world renowned cardio.

California is so different from the rest of the bible thumping U.S. in its dealings with medicinal maryJ, it could be considered a country itself. If you were to ask me to choose weed or sleeping pills Id say weed every time. If your state doesnt allow it, I say move. To the OP I say "head west young man." Besides there much hotter ass out here....:p:p
