Smoking some weed from time to time

alcohol, weed, tobacco, etc etc. its all negative as far as i'm concerned.

Arnold back in the day would need an oxygen tank after a workout. when i have a tough workout I am huffing and puffing. you need your lungs to be working at full force. smoking weed or cigarettes makes it harder to breathe, hence it will hurt your workouts and recovery pure and simple. i think it is a MAJOR negative and why we don't discuss recreational drug use on this board!

and please people dont insult my intelligence and say weed isn't as bad as cigarettes. puhleeze. i dated a girl who smoked weed and she had a cough like a 70 year old man and was coughing up yellow crap all the time.


not saying weed is a good choice but it is safer then cigs or achol..and if u wanna get real,arnold use to smoke weed,thats prolly why he had an oxgeyn tank he could breath form all the thc ha

Wrong. Nicotine is absent in cannabis. 'Smokers' consume an average of a pack-a-day or more from the highly addictive nicotine. Thats a whole lot more crap going into your lungs than an occasional joint. I'm not saying its good for you, it is certainly the opposite but its nowhere near as bad as smoking cigarettes.

Its like any other drug. There are costs and benefits you way them out according to your needs.
 
Weed does not affect your stamina or cardio. The smoke does. The smoke is what kills your lungs, not the weed...get your facts straight before you bash something. You can eat it or use a vaporizer if you want, but if you smoke the occasional joint you will have no problems at all with your cardio. I find steroids keep me awake and I find it very hard to fall asleep, so I do smoke a quick bowl or something and I pass right out. I find smoking and getting to sleep a good straight 8 hours is way more beneficial to recovering than sleeping for a couple of hours and passing in and out all night.

I find it funny how people who do steroids bash every single thing out there except for steroids. They act like steroids are not harmful one bit and weed is an evil killer. I do both and I'm not stupid enough to say steroids are safe.
