Six year old girl groped by TSA (video)

Musclemom, if you look at my whole sentence it says Sabrina from Wichita the 6 year old. Not sure what you want me to own up to.

For those of you who believe it's okay I would suggest re reading the 4th amendment of the constitution. It protects United States citizens from unlawful search and seizure. This is not conditional unless warranted by unlawful activity. We can not trade our rights for "security" also taking into consideration the TSA has never stopped a terrorist attack.

This would be different if the airlines themselves were in charge of their own security. But this is not the case, the TSA is and always has been a government entity.

Bush had much if not almost all to do with is losing personal and civil rights. In fact I would say more so than Obama. Don't drink any cool aid.

Thanks for the lesson on the symbol. My mothers family is from Norway and I have recently started researching my heritage hence the symbol. I misspoke on the Thor v thors hammer, I did know what it was but did not realize it was a heathen symbol.

The chiled was not forced to be searched. If they did not want it, they didn't have to fly. Try again.

The TSA has no right to search us. What is hard to understand about this. The 4th amendment forbids this. This is the same as you walking down the street an a cop stopping you and rifling through your persons. It is absolutely and unequivocally against the laws of this country.

This would be different if say Delta Airlines decided to have security details set up outside of their gates and you agreed to searches of your person by buying a ticket.

However this does not hold because the TSA is not paid for by the airlines but out o our tax dollars. It is not a debate or gray area it's fact.

Honestly, I fail to see why this should cause any more outrage than, say, an active duty service member being subjected to a search when they are on their way to be deployed :whatever:

The child was treated in a professional manner, the TSA agent was explaining everything she did while she did it, and the search was no more rough or invasive than any other pat down I've seen. Obviously the parents didn't want her to go through the scanner, so that's what happens.

Shit, terrorists have NO problem handing a grenade to their child, pulling the pin and telling them to run up to the soldiers. Drug smugglers have NO problem telling children to swallow balloons filled with drugs. Just because a human being is under the age of 18 doesn't mean they cannot be a bomb or mule.

Bush started dismantling the bill of rights long before Obama came on the scene, you people gave up your right to unlawful search and seizure last decade and smiled while it happened.

You can sneak ANYTHING by TSA look up, I posted a video of a tv host getting on a plane with straight razors.

The TSA makes rules and regulations required to fly on a plane. You don't have the RIGHT to fly. If you don't like the rules, don't fly. Take a car, take a boat - those are your options.

Your rights have not been violated.

I am so sick of hearing people complain about this. Your ancestors had to travel for weeks to get to other parts of the world. It cost a fortune and only the very rich did it. Now, you can go to Asia or Europe in 1 day and for less than 1 weeks salary yet you sit her and bitch about your rights being violated.

Give me a break. Perfect expample how people take for granted modern conveiniences and really need to appreciate what you have and STFU.

4th amendment stands. This has never been "settled". I have said what I need to say. But again this is why every day our civil rights are eroded more and more.

We must not and can not trade our rights for security. At no cost is this acceptable. And I will not just as you have so eloquently put it STFU.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

how the hell do you think this covers airports? a place surrounded by other people and businesses with their own set of right, where you are obtaining a service by choice as a privilege and not right....

I always make them say it is they are searching for.. and that was in the 80's long before TSA..

and they are hiring.. issue is they can't find enough people that can pass a drug screen..

See, I don't care about the pat downs or the scanner machines, what has me sitting up nights worrying is what's going to happen when the terrorists figure out how to make:
1. Rectal suppository bombs.

2. Tampon bombs.

3. Bombs that can be swallowed or surgically inserted into the abdominal cavity.
