Shin splints in my forearms

Now I realize this prolly belongs in the training section but damnit I never go there and I don't expect that a lot of you bro's who I gather advice from do either.

Anyway, lately especially when doing bi's (curls - EZ or straight bar), preacher curl, or sometimes when I do bent over rows or am having to lift a lot when spotting for forced reps, my forearms get to hurting fuckin BAD! I mean I can hardly let go of the damn bar once I get done. It's painful to remove my fingers from the bar. :redhot:

I've tried a looser grip, keeping wrists straight, etc. I've also tried working forearms EOD hoping that if I build them up it will stop the pain. But it seems to be getting worse. The kicker is I'm in week 2 of my cycle so it's not like I can lift any lighter. I'm just workin through the pain now but wondered if anyone has had this before and what they did to resolve it.

Been there and it sucks. Found nothing that helped much except wraping my wrists. Then it took about a year or so and it just went away on its own.

Happens more on straight bar for me. I noticed that if a missed a workout, the pain was worse. I just learned to deal with it.

Are you using dbol? That can cause pain in forearms, i sometimes get it when im on.

Yes, although the pain was there before the cycle. Now it's just getting worse. 2nd week in dbol/sust/decca/winny.

Do you just get pain when you workout, or is it there all the time? If its just when you train, then it could be off the pumps your getting. If there is something else causing the pain, then the dbol will definately make it worse.

mainly just when I workout. I mean, if I rub my finger along the bone where it attaches I can feel the pain down deep. But other than that it doesn't bother me until I start poundin out heavy weights. But your prolly right, the dbol has prolly made it just that much worse. ...wonderful

oh well, nothin can stop me now. ;)

I get the exact same thing mvmaxx, for me the pain is the worst when doing barbell curls...all i can tell you is wrist straps and pain-killers before you train, that has helped me a little, but i've been putting up with it for as long as i can remember now...life's shit and then you die, c'est la vie!
