i also have an inclination toward uppers... valium (pretty much all benzo's) are another weakness. I try to keep myself pretty straight though, but I see a wall approachign that's going to be a difficult one to go over. Hear ya saint. Just don't go overboard, and use this altered state of mind to enhance your musical productivity.

Bro, thats not the answer to problems. Being alone is tough, but you are a strong man. I would take the other persons suggestion on joining a support group. Perhaps it would do you some good, and you could meet people in a similiar situation. If you need to talk pm me anytime. My door is always open...

Don't mess with that stuff. I have been down that road. I am lucky to be alive. I took a ton of Xanax and mixed it with alcohol several times.

One time....the police brought me home....I had no idea where my car was. Another time....the cops pulled me over...and I ended up in an ambulance on my way to the hospital. Both of these times...I don't even remember making a decision to go driving. I am DAMN lucky I didn't kill someone.

I am telling you from experience....quit NOW! Benzos and alcohol are two of the most difficult substances to come off of. If you think you have a problem, you probably do. I recommend you go to your MD and be 100% honest. He/she will help you.
