Treil, my goal is to make it all about me again. I'm not interested in dating AT ALL. I just want to be alone and do my own thing. I'm in NE Indiana - Acutally only about an hour South of Coldwater.

I've got 5 properties I'm interested in, the mortgage company has already ran my credit and I've got the realtor looking for more properties for me. I told them I need immediate occupancy - like yesterday! She called me and said "I hear your hair's on fire" - lol - I said YES, AND I'M RUNNING DOWN THE STREET! Need to hurry! lol

I'm joining a gym today. As soon as my daughter gets out of the tanning bed I'm leaving to go over there.


Good for you girl, the gym has been a lifesaver for me. You can work out so many frustrations there.

It's hard ,as one strong woman to another dealing with an insecure man,a time comes when we must be who we are meant to be and stop holding up those that can't or won't have our backs! Girl Power my sister!! ;)
 
Oh, SG I have an idea of what you're going through. I know I made a comment sometime back about no support being the reason I got divorced, and while I meant to be facetious it was the honest truth!

It takes an extremely strong woman to walk away after 7 years and I think that sums you up. You have such amazing strength, especially considering the fact that you never let on about any of this. I wish I could do something/anything for you but am just too far away. :(

You know we're here for you anytime you need us. I was just thinking today what an awesome group of girls this is and how happy I am to be a part of this board even though I've never meant any of you face to face. Sometimes, you can't ask for better friends than what you find here and I look forward to stopping in and also getting people's opinions on everything, fitness-related or not.

Well, just got my membership at the gym. I wanted to train today, but it was packed and I didn't feel like looking like a newbie in the middle of a crowd. I'll start tomorrow when it's less busy. All brand new Hammer Strength & TONS of cardio equipment. As a member I get discounts at the Yoga place accross the street. They have yoga classes (obviously) and pilates too. I guess there is also a massage therapist there too! Oh, you KNOW I'm all about that with the stress right now. My neck is STILL giving me problems.

I want to train tonight here at home, but I'm too excited to use all the equipment at the gym, so I think I'll just save it!!! That's bad, but what's one more day? My diet is under in calories today, so I'm good there.

Sorry sweetie. :rose: It makes me sooo sad to see what you're going through. It'll be rough to live in the same house together but may be extra incentive to put in some hours at the gym.

Get to the massage therapist, and yoga studio as much as possible! It will help keep the stress at bay (along with weights), and will also help with flushing some of the emotional problems going on. More then likely you are holding your stress in your neck.

My DO has me doing stretches for it. She says the little muscles along the sides of my spine all the way at the top are tight and inflamed. I was taking meds to sleep - because it was too painful to move, an anti-inflamatory (which helped the most), and a muscle relaxer (which didn't help at all so I just quit taking it). All out of meds and refuse to get more. So stretching and massage it is!

Just got back from my first workout at the new gym. I REALLY missed it! Had a GREAT workout and since I was off 3 days, I'm going back again this afternoon to hit legs! :)

Yeah I'm suprised you are not getting headaches then also. you can reciprocal heat and ice your neck (15-20 minutes each). Also if you can't get to the therapist you can do some massaging on your own neck.
Congrats on your first work-out and going back for seconds :)
