I wont normally post my thought process for each game i play, but i figured i would do it for this game just to show what goes into my picks.
Clemson +3.5 Georgia
Clemson always frustrates everyone. they always have tons of talent, but they never live up to their expectations.
Clemson is stacked on offense. They are returning almost everyone on offense and they finally have a QB with a head. Chalie Whitehurst is a future stud. He is just a soph, but he played some last year and he looked really good to me. They only return 4 guys on defense. But they return 2 DL and 1 CB and their leading tackler.
However, Georgia only retruns 3 guys on offense, so they shouldnt be able to exploit the young/inexperienced Clemson D. And the return NO starters on the offensive line! They are probably going to go with 5 sophmores on the line. Georgia does return 7 guys on defense. Clemson also beat georgia AT Georgia last year. And i think clemson will only get better this year.
I also think that Coach Richt's revolving QB idea is moronic. A team needs consistency. Switching QB's after each series or quarter is not a good idea (despite the fact he went 13-1 last year with the rotating QBs).
