Figured out what the approach is going to be for your abs and back? Should I say written down approach and game plan...

HiDn: Thanks borham, appreciated in every way :qt:

CK: hehe, thanks. Those were taken pre-x.rays and pre-"I need to do core work now" posts.... you're sweet

*B.Bunnylicious*: :D Thank you

Treilin: :D Thanks!! Hmmm... no, nothing concrete...though it's never concrete with me and will change around unless I tack it on to my already outlined workouts. SO... for now, i've been doing weighted crunches and some hypers in the gym with my lifting... at home after major stretching session I do some planks, supermans, and leg raises.

Most importantly, what's helped the most I think is keeping my lower abs tight throughout the day, while sitting, walking, everything. It's quite a choir to consciously think to do it all the time... but I haven't had any lower back pain like before... in a few days since i started. Yay :)

It'll get easier with time, I'm sure.

I've done weighted abs 2 days in a row this week...abs don't feel abused, feel tight and strong. I don't want to "over" do it... how many weighted ab sessions should I do a week you think? Or just go with my body... a few here and there before each 4 days a week lifting session (to stay tight for the workout, ect)?

I'd like to get calipered soon actually... I'm curious how much LBM I have on me right now compared to previous caliper test (late summer, I think it might have been). If I remember correctly I had 170 something LBM then... I'd have to check the sheet in my training journal later.

^^^ Buns, you will be very happy to see this :rose:

Well I think you nailed it with keeping them tight through the day and doing corrective posture techniques!
That's crucial to everyone!
I would go with your body on what to do. IF you can handle it then do more. If it becomes tender to much do less.
Especially with sitting all day... Maybe even put a balance ball as a chair at your desk... It forces you to keep good posture.. I am slouched over like a dufus right now as I type this...
