Question for the New York members.

Say I was thinking about driving up to NYC on a Thursday for a long weekend. What clubs might I hit on Thursday evening/Friday/Saturday/Sunday morning?

Any afterhours places to go, that sort of thing. 18+ or 19+ clubs, or places that don't card, preferably.

i would sleep all of thursday friday and saturday then wake up around 6 sunday morning and go to sound factory

i have heard Lot 61 has been good on thursdays, also Spa...but with NYE, people may be partied out..you never know though

this friday i would go to Exit to hear Denny Tsettos, saturday, so many possibilities, but sunday morning SF..though it may be an off week considering JP spun twice this week already...who knows, some of the best nights i have had at SF have been the week after a big party

The days I have open for a trip are the 16th - 19th of this month, so it's not a this weekend thing.

correct me if I'm wrong, but Vinyl is 18+ (or at least they don't serve alcohol so I"m assuming this). I've been there until 6:00am occasionally, but not it a while so I can't even verify that it's still open these days. Worth a check though if you're around.

No vinyl is 21+ they check IDs as far as I know.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but Vinyl is no more, and it is now called ARC. I was there on NYE and it is 18+ on friday and saturday nites, but dont expect to find anything at the bar other then gatorade, water, and red bulls Place is kinda small, and if your looking for a well dressed, guido / meathead place to chill that is definately **NOT** the place to go lol

I've been likin the Exit Friday partys for the past two weeks (last nite was kinda off with the weather tho...) so it might not be a bad idea for Friday nite.

If you wanna venture into NJ during the week, Abyss in Sayreville, NJ has a good party on Wednesday nigtes thats 18+, and Metro Lounge in Rochelle Park, NJ has a decent Thrusday nite 'college party' or some shit thats 18+ too.

As far as SF goes, the place is technicall 21+ but rumor has it that you can get in even if your under 21 after about 5AM on sunday morning (after they stop serving alcohol)- but that can be hit or miss. I'm under 21 and never felt like making the trip at 5AM and be turned away so I cant speak for the party, but most of the people that I know that have gone there have liked it....

As far as hours go:

EXIT Fridays: 11PM till about 8AM Sat Morning

ABYSS WED: 9PM-2AM

METRO: 10 or 11P - till 2 or 3

Yeah you may be right...

I went to Vinyl in 2001 to check out Danny Tenaglia a few times on Fridays...good party...a lot of trannies though...

arc is the only place I know that is not 21+....

on that weekend you have danny tenaglia on friday and a gatecrasher party on saturday...
