Power Cleans

+2,5kg. going into a front squat wokred better this time. my index fingers
bothered me b/c when my ellbows move up too slow there is a lot of
pressure on the first joint. Sometimes I lose up to 2 fingers (pinky and
ring) due to inflexibilty of the wrist on my slow ellbows.

Rack Jerks
3x 50kg
3x 55kg
3x 60kg
3x 62,5kg

changed the outline just as suggested and tried to bend my back leg more
still easy. what increments do you suggested for progression on the top
set? possiblities are +0,5; +1kg; +2kg; +2,5kg?

Clean Pulls
3x5 97,5kg

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wnfomn54ERk

+2,5kg. focused on not throwing my head back. I still think that I look
slow on the clean pulls. some reps look good others seem more to be
a deadlift with a shrug. should my feet leave the floor on these just like
with the power cleans?

GMs

easy. Never really done these and they feel kind of awkward.

the game was terrible - 2-9 loss. I did alright, had some good moments and
some bad moments. anyway I got home at 6:30am and went to work at
7:30am til 2:30pm. the plan was to work out on Sunday but I took the day
off.
I am thinking of doing the next workout tomorrow so I can do another one on
Thursday and the heavy squating on Sunday again. I havent done any
cardio lately and really should get going with it - 3 times a week for 45 min
should be good enough

Squats 5x5 97,5kg

should have done 95 but didnt pay too much attention and made a +5kg
jump

FSquats 5x3 67,5kg

easy

Push Presses 5x5 57,5kg
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_8rW6tTr8U

I did them with my other bar. this bar seemed lighter even though weight
is up 2,5kg

DB Bench Press 3x10 DB + 17,5kg

hard but not close to failure.

Just a question on your push press. From what I understand, the dip/drive should be quick and explosive, but it looks to me like you lower it very slowly, then explode upwards. Is that to keep the weight under control? Also, you said the bar feels lighter, is it a different brand bar, 'cause a thinner bar might feel lighter.

Too bad on the game, though always better luck with the next one :-D.

I dont really have an answer for you. I think that it isnt necessary to have a quick initial dip. what really matters is the explosivness during the knee/hip/ankle extension. My form wasnt corrected by my coaches so far, thus I guess I am not doing these presses completly wrong.

it is a different brand. I have a competition certified Ligo (think it is a eastern europe brand) olympic bar and a no name 20kg barbell. it happened before that I though that the "normal" bar is lighter when I did bench presses with the olympic bar and didnt do too well. I am not sure about the thickness/thiness of the bar but they should be the same
:worried:

we lost our second game too. 3-2. legs felt good. I didnt do anything on
Sunday and wanted to lift on Monday. However school started thins
Monday and I had a basketball class early morning with 45min of running
around. Fortunately I decided to not lift on Monday b/c coaches sent us on
a 30min run before ice practice and on the ice we were playing 3 on 3 and
4 on 4 for an hour. It was really hard with only 30s-60s breaks between
shifts which were 30s as well. at the end I felt my calves cramping a little
bit.
I didnt really feel good during todays workout. really tired and no speed at all.
