Petpre's turn on Greek Mythology - lifting Olympus(ic)

decided to do 2 workouts together so I can get all the exercises done in
7-8 days. Lost first play off game but won the 2nd one. Another long road
trip is coming up on Saturday.

1.3.2007

oly BSquats
1x2 130kg (missed 3rd rep)

Push Press
3x5 77,5kg

FSquats
5x3 97,5kg

quite a struggle

sl DB SLDL

1x10 DB + 25kg

decided to drop them since holding onto the dbs is getting tough on my
forearms and wrists and resulting in stiff and sore wrists the following days
which doesnt help on the ice.

High Bar Good Mornings
2x5 40kg

1s hold at the bottom position

nice numbers for your squats. :D How do you handle the front squats at that much weight? Any tips? It' kills my delts above 70KG

thanks

concerning your question, are you sure you place the bar at the right position? it should rest in the little groove that starts at the upper end of the delts. ellbows as high as possible (parallel to the ground). if you hit the right position there is no way it hurts. it might feel a little uncomfortable at the beginning just like the bar on the traps with squats but you will get used to it soon enough

this actually is huge - I have never been there before. I did 2x122kg this summer with different(=lighter) bar and plates. my 1RM used to be 135kg with
said bar and plates but not oly BSquats, stopped around parallel. I never though
it is possible to improve this much during a season.

props to me
