Petpre's turn on Greek Mythology - lifting Olympus(ic)

coaches told me to stick with the plan for another few weeks and let me
progress with the load and work on form.

workout #6
21.9.2006

work out duration: 55 min

Squats 5x5 92,5kg
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQVXWcR_q9g

squats are still quite a bit away from my PR (107,5kg) so they are not too
demanding right now. nevertheless I am a little tired on the ice after this
workout.

FSquats 5x3 65kg
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpBAjsJShwU

easy

Push Presses 5x5 55kg
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ooUcouaP8vk

they are getting harder. I was a little unstable pre lockout.

DB Bench Press 3x10 DB + 16kg

they are getting a lot harder. I do them pretty much like a close grip bench.

Sat is my first regular season game. It is a long road trip so I will be on the
bus all day and wont be back until sunday morning which should be around
the time I need to leave for work until 2pm. Man, you gotta love
these weekends...

wow! then i can't imagine front squatting after 5 straight sets of squats! lol..

great job!

thanks. It may seem harder than it actually is. The weight is not close to my
5x5 PR and I work out only once a week with heavy 5x5 squats. Also, the
weight for fsquats is really easy, only 60% of my 3RM. the push presses at the
end are rather taxing even more than the squats but of course the play a big
role in the taxingness of the push presses :p

Good luck at your game on Saturday, kick some ASS!! A few more months of training like this, and you'll blow the competition away! Keep up the good work!
