Personnal trainers...I need tips!

I do some personnal trainings at night, after my job. Usually, I charge for the program, the diet (if they want too), the callipers (%bf) and a complete explanation and demonstration of every movements... Sometimes, people are asking me to come back with them at the gym after a week and the after a month or so to check if the exercices are well done. That's ok with me.

But now, there's a woman who is asking me to train with me 3 times a week, and she will pay for it. I've never saw her before, she found my business card in a supplement store. I don't know if I should accept. And if I accept, what amount should I charge her??? I would have to change my workout hours and I'm actually preparing myself for a powerlifting comp.
So, my questions are:
Should I let her train with me in exchange of money?
If so, how much should I charge her????

Thanks!

Damn spats! You got a deal! I was payin $30 per and I thought I had a rockin deal. God, how blonde do I feel?????

LG -- the trainers at my gyms get between $40 & $60 USD per hour. If its a "private" session, (i.e. go to their house, it can be up to $70- 90). If the customer will commit to maybe x number of sessions per month, there's usually some sort of discount.

Geez!!! I'm gonna be rich!

If you have any other suggestions, feel free!

LG-
just to give ya' an idea of costs...Personal training at my gym costs $55-$65/hr- trainers receive 60%... home training cost is set by the trainer considering travel time, if we take equipment to their home, etc...

We usually offer sessions of 12 or 20 so you can plan your time according to a schedule... cancellations of less than 24 hrs result in loss of session....keeps the client respectful of your time.

If you can arrange your own training schedule, the extra $$ buys a lot of protein & supps for ya'... ;)

What Lobo said. I have several friends who are resident trainers at the local World Gym. They never seem to get time to train and spend most of their time babysitting the people who need someone to count out their reps for them. Looks kinda thankless if you ask me. If this is your main source of income, you have to really hustle to keep a full schedule because most people won't pay for a continued schedule (unless they are serious or have money to burn).

It seems that if you have a couple good clients who will stick to their schedule and not whine, these will be worth your while and the most rewarding. And keep your regular job.

I pay my trainer $50/hr in the gym, $40/hr in his house
...and I can assure you that hour is all about ME.

Little Girl, I wish you mucho moola!!:D I would LOVE to have someone with your bod train me!!:p :p You look great... it shows your true dedication to the sport.

Thanks guys! I finally decided for a paquage deal price. I think she'll be a good client, she already did some bb comp and she already has a good base.
