New high on the squat rack!

Ok I am 41 YO, yesturday I did 405 on the rack.
Had some punk kids in the rack next to me making all kinds of noise doing sets of 3 with 315 so I put on 365 pumped out a few them, then loaded 405, waited my 2 min. I got one full nice set of one (one=set=LOL).
Just thought I would share.
I am looking forward to 495 now.

Thats great bro, but go ahead and add the 2.5's and make it an even 500 LBS.

4 Wheels is a milestone. Many lifters go their whole career without squat 400+ There is only one place to go from here. Up!!!
 
very nice, feels good dont it? to stand back and look at the bar and know you just owned 400+lbs
 
Hey guys thanks for the props! I took about 6 weeks off because my joints were starting hurt bad. When I started back up they started hurting again. Added a little liquid tendon fix and I have been doing great. Tonight I militaried 275 4 times! I wanted to go for 305 but I didn't want to cause any problems with my shoulder until I am sure it is all healed.

If your doing 275 miltaries with barbell that's awesome. My best is still 255 for 3.
Congrats on the 405. I know what your talking about when it comes to the young goofs in the gym. A couple of these guys were doing squats last week doing 360 for 4 and 6's and I really thought I was losing my edge. So yesterday I went 4 sets of 8 to 10 reps of 405, just to ensure I still have that edge.

I hope at your age I will still do good as you do! But don't get too carried away, shit happens!

Damn, 4 plates on each side, just thinking about that makes my back hurt
