Nelson Montana, since you're back I have to Thank you!

Thank Nelson.

I have seen and read many of his previous posts and my overall impression is that this guy is very, very knowledgeable in a wide array of aspects in BB and I am seeing a guy that seems to just want to help people succeed in the sport of bodybuilding. Welcome him and his knowledge we will all benefit from him hanging out!

Thanks for the link bro. That's not the "main" thread I was talking about but of course the theory is the same.
I really was questioning that it was th article you were referring to BUT it was a good article that I felt was worthy and actually am probably going to try. And he mentions the ultimate goal of 75 reps and I know from experience that not not always is lift heavy is the right way to go when trying to put on mass. Although we all strive to be stronger sometimes repetitions and time under contraction is simply ALL we need to grow. Depends on the individual I suppose

Keep in mind, the objective isn't to use a weight so light that you can complete 75 reps. The idea is to go heavy -- max out -- and resume lifting as soon as possible -- max out again-- and keep going until you reach a total of 75 reps. This is a procedure that works best for type I muscle fibers -- the most completions in the least amount of time. Very short. Very painful. Very effective.

I actually tried the biceps routinue today and did the calf exercise as well. Very effective!! I've down the calf one before with a lot of success but haven't used it in a while....thanks for the reminder. :p

Wow, good to see you back brother! I don't know if you remember me but we used to chat often on here back in the day, especially when you had your own forum. I had wondered when you would pop up again. I still read your ebooks that I had purchased years ago. I got an inch of growth on my calfs in 3 months with that routine. Welcome back :)

The 75 rep calves exercise does make sense to me. I kind of got to the same conclusion in a primitive stage. About a year ago, I went to walmart to buy a large patio table. The weight of that shit has to be like 70 pounds. My calves never grow and I had my classic routine at the gym. Never get sore the next day. Well, I took the table over my head, all the way from the cashier to the car, that was I think about 90-100 steps and surprise! the next day my calves were sore. lol

So Nelson's routine is like a tried and improved technique that has to be tried, specially for those like me who can't get those claves grow.

I will admit that for calves, I am gifted. My husband was gifted for beautiful shape but size was harder to gain there than for let's say his biceps or upper legs. But when he tried NM calf routine, not only he couldn't walk right for a day or two but it actually worked and put size on in a rather short time. :)
