certain rules apply to certain people and it's confusing as hell...the last time i was timed out/band was because i created the alter trena enthnate and alters aren't allowed...but other alters get a pass for some reason, like goose or gl's gut.

Eh. I understand where you're coming from but it's still impossible for us to all decode all the mystery with the lack of communication. I left my captain decoder ring on in my desk in the 2nd grade.

For example:

1) One day Cunt was put on some 'auto' change list where it was censored. There was no communication to this effect. I noticed it, posted about it wondering if it was a flaw - bam Banned. No notice, nothing. Communication to other mods / admins was purposely blocked and altered.

2) I put both cunt and nigger in this thread in type. I am still here. Not saying I don't wanna be, but that defines arbitrary.

3) c00per posts a fly picture with Lestat / Pick3, Gambino uses it as avatar - banned. Sure he put it up like 10x, but why not just PM him and say don't do it?

4) What all the mods might not only tolerate but laugh at may garner attention from an admin who bans with no warning, then talking to another admin they are completly puzzled as to why and in fact take your side.

Customers of the site shouldn't be victims of unwritten, unclear, arbitary rules and or infighting amongst admins / mods.

Not trying to be difficult but a little bit of communicatin would go along way....

i do understand and i'm sure i'd be frustrated if i were you too.
i can only tell you that there is no behind the scenes rules that we aren't telling you.
i think what happens a lot of times is things DO get overlooked and certain people are cut slack from different mods/admin while other members who consistantly push the envelope do it and it becomes the last straw.
Not that Sublime often pushes the envelope, of course, but when you say "i don't care if it's a rule, i'm doing it anyway", that's definately pushing it.

For me, i will always pm the person and say "don't do that anymore". then if it happens again, i feel free to do something.

By the very definition of 'arbitrary' in the context of rules, they are impossible to anticipate and therefor impossible to follow.

Ummm not to be adversarial but I am not the one with the comprehension issue as I seem to be able to fully grasp what *the rules are* at any given time. I haven't had this *issue* in seven years. How long you been here and how many *issues* have you had? Seriously, what gives?
