My Knee Sounds Like Rice Crispies!

My right knee has been bothering me for sometime.. Although i've been laying off legs due to a groin pull for about a month now, I am starting to notice the crackling and popping in my right knee.

could it be from previous heavy squats and other leg excercises?
AAS?
HGH?

Suggestions?
I am already taking MSM,Chondroiton,Glucosimine.
 
this is the sound of your tendons moving.

they are catching

this could be a tear, slight or serious.

catching against the bone, or being impinged. (serious) had this happen.
 
A single ply knee sleeve might fix it if it's just a genetically loose tendon/joint (did for me), also if you have bad form (knees in front of toes) on squats it will put more strain on the knees. My buddys knees sound like rocks dropping on the ground when his form is wrong, it's nasty haha
 
It really depends.

My left knee makes a very small cracking sound when doing full squats or deep leg presses.

Thing is I don't feel a damn thing and never have. Not only that, but I remember getting a physical from a doc in my late teen's and he said I had very thick knee tendons which doesn't surprise me with my legs.

My theory for me is that it's just compressive gas or fluid when the knee goes through full flexion. Similar to the sound of your back being cracked by a chiropractor which isn't a bad thing.

If you feel no pain while it happens nor after, have no pain or swelling at all there is a good chance it's nothing. Wouldn't hurt to have it looked at or x-rayed, but it might not really be anything.

You mentioned your knee has been bothering you, but not whether you have previously injured it or whether or not it actually hurts/feels uncomfortable now or if it's just the sounds that bother you.
 
It's not in to much pain. Just cracking and feels weird. Do you think I should stay away from deep squats and squat just enough to where my knee meets the toe? Think that caused it.
 
Mine sound horrible and feel even worse when you put a hand on them when they move. Go by pain and flexibility. I just went through some trips to the doc for my knee as it locked up completely on me 3 weeks ago. Within a week I was running again not sure what happened doc initially thought I tore my pcl.
 
STAY AWAY FROM LEG EXTENSIONS!!!!!
If it dosnt hurt then youre prolly fine.
On your squats DO go past parallel.
On your squat days do a very good warmup.
On squat days even in the summer wear long sweat pants.
The single ply knee sleeve ia excellent.
You may wanna do a search on Adequan, it has made a significant change in my life.
