my favorite protein shake recipe

1 cup soy milk, 1 scoop protein powder, 1 small container of nonfat plain yogurt, some honey, blend, drink - those MRP's are too expensive - and I use Ultimate Nutrition 100% Prostar whey protein that has a BCAA's and a bunch of other stuff in it that meal replacements have in it so why spend the money on MRP's when you can make your own up and its much cheaper and probably healthier.:p
 
Heres mine:

2 servings of Whey Protein
600ml 2% milk
3 tblspoons peanut butter
2 raw eggs
1 cup vanilla icecream

108g's of protein, 1659 calories, 436g's of fats. If you cant tell, this is definantly a bulking shake!

2C skim milk
2 grahm crackers
1-2 tbsp honey
1 heaping tbsp fat free cream cheese
2 scoops vanilla whey
some ice cubes

i got this out of the GNC mag, you supposed to add some sour cream too but i never did. its alot of calories but its mackin!
 
Definately...

3 scoops choc whey protein
1 scoop Keto brans low carb hot cocoa mix (very sweet and chocolatly)
8 oz water
6 ice cubes.
Throw in a blender and mix till smooth. MMM YNUMMY!

around 46 grams protein, around 5 grams fat and around 7 carbs.

You can also throw in a tbs of natty pb and substitute skim milk. Either way, you can't go wrong.
 
Now offence but I find you Americans pretty funny in this aspect. You have tons of cheap FLAVORED protein supps and still a lot of people compain they "almost purged from the taste" or something to that extent. You should try living someplace where flavored protein is expensive (imported from the US so price rises considerably). After you've been drinking plain whey or casein for a few years anything flavored, no matter how bad it tastes to you, is absolutely heavenly. Whey isolate is ok actually because it is basically tasteless. I'd still like to see some of you taste it :) The worst combination at first IMHO is whey concentrate and calsium caseinate with a couple of tablespoons of olive oil. But after a few years even that goes down very well.
 
Man, I'm glad I came across this site.....I bought 20 pounds of whey protein off ebay figuring I would be saving 2/3's what I normally would be spending at GNC. Got the whey couple days later and it is probably the nastiest stuff I have ever had. Think cardboard and water blended up and thats probably what it tastes like. These recipes are definitely going to come in handy. Only thing is the added calories.....trying to lose that friggin tire and need to be eating 500 less calories a day for awhile. Oh well....just have to make up for it in other areas and cardio.

Is it true that in this one shake, there is that much protein?

Let's see I really dont measure exactly, but here goes:

6 scoops of ice cream
1 packet of dry milk
1 spoonful of honey
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 spoonfuls of peanut butter
1 banana
some egg beaters
chocolate syrup
and then fill it to the top with milk, and blend
 
3 scoops of choclate peanut butter WheyPlex
6-7 Frozen Strawberries
Half a Banana
Teaspoon of Peanut Butter
Drizzle of Honey
10 oz skim milk
Some ice

Good stuff
