Ah, I helped her package the complaint to get it out, and she calmed down and seems okay now. She needs to get more efficient. Her work load should not be stressing her out as much as it does.

i'm not going to fire her over that. I just hope her attitude improves. HOLY COW. She acts pissed all the time. It weirds me out. I'm super laid back/type b. It makes me nervous when ppl like drama.

She walks around like she is pissed off all the time. So, I ask the other paralegal if she knows if something is wrong with her. She said that all she does is bitch all day long about how no one appreciates her work and she has too much to do, etc. This is crazy. We are all busy, but we have a VERY friendly, relaxed office. This chick just loves DRAMA! She is constantly on the phone mad at her kids or husband and just keeps things stirred up constantly.

I just walked a pleading in to her to package the suit together to go off via overnight mail. She slammed it on her desk and sighed. I told her, "I'm sorry, but I just got the docs to prep that suit this afternoon and as you know, I need them to go out the same day."

I think she is really being insubordinating. She better watch her step. I'm very friendly, but I'm getting sick of her shit.

Plus, she uses the "n word" from time to time, despite my telling her not to do that.

She also tortures us with talk about her sex life.

Good God.

if its concerning, then perhaps sit down with her and have a talk about her negative attitude. let her know she needs to tighten up.

I'm very sensitive and positive with everyone in the office. I do lots of back patting. Seriously, I think she is just crazy. I have never bitched at anyone. She has slacked on some things here and there and I address it with sort of a little training session. I keep a pretty positive atmosphere around here.

I'll talk to her tomorrow. Right now I'll let her have her little hissy fit.

yeah my experience has been that people really do need regular accolades and recognition. even when it may seem trivial to you or I, others look for that. but if she is the type to carry a negative attitude, then obviously thats an issue that needs addressing.
