no offense MM, but I'm not sure why you're being called on a 45" chest.. 55" maybe (although that kind of bullshit only happens in the roid & C&C forums).. but 45" isnt freakish

not that its small, but seem about right for someone who does his deadlifts (back size adds a lot to a chest measurement, mine is 52" after a torso workout and my pec are teeny)
 
I just measured my chest for the hell of it (never measured chest before). My lifts are about the same as MM's here. Though he has higher 1 rep maxes as I haven't trained the 1 rep range at all.

My chest is also 45" cold (back and pecs flexed).

Like Tweakle said most of the chest measurement is back, and if he's doing deads, rows etc. The size is not out of proportion to any of his lifts here.

Also, if you are simply questioning the 45.5" chest measurement, why not just say so instead of being so condescending?

Seriously, why does someone have to come onto a serious journal, that includes pics & vids, and cause a fuss??

Somebody's bone structure and back width plays a huge role in a chest measurement....plus tendon strength and % of fast twitch fibers play a role in low-rep strength, while endurance and % of slow twitch fibers play a role in higher rep performance......citing your own personal numbers as the world standard and calling BS in a condescending, insult somebody's intelligence way, on somebody who is a solid contributor with proof of his stats no less is child shit. I've seen 280lb guys with low bodyfat lift like pussies and I've seen wiry, 175lbers who were weightroom studs.....tape measures are for cock sizes, they mean nothing in the world of performance.

AND, like Tweakle said, all vid and pic proof aside, lol, the kid never claimed a 55" chest with a 28" waist or something ridiculous......The training board is a good place these days, and this journal is one of the big reasons. I'd like to see the crap kept on C and C and BB.com

Seen you around some other logs I subscribe to and thought I would check you out.

This is a great journal because it's real; you're working hard and able to visibly demonstrate progress while motivating others at the same time.

I'll be checking in every day, look forward to more of your progress.

(Looked at all your pics thinking, damn, wow, he's getting hotter by each take, then realising, oh 20 next birthday and then that I'm old enough to be your mother, LOL)

Hey everyone, just checked back in, thanks Everyone for honestly having my back, I know this is the online world, but still, I really appreciated it!!

This dude had me thinking 45 inch chest was freakish, then I thought maybe I measured wrong, but but nope. If anything its alittle bigger now.

Had a Decent workout, not too crazy. Flat bench, I just totally sucked ass. Incline dumbbells, now that’s another story =]

I was so pumped for chest day, that I went and had an aqua message at the gym and a nap 3 hours before the gym lol.


Chest + Triceps

Chest
Flat Bench: warmed up to 185x10, 225x5, 275x0(missed), 260x0(missed), 225x3, 185x10, 135x10 135x7
Incline Barbell: 185x7 185x7 205x3 185x7
Incline Dumbells: 80x7, 90x,7 100x5, 100x4
Incline Fly’s on Cable Machine: 40x10, 50x10, 60x7, (70x3 drop set 30x4)

Triceps
Close Grip: 165x7, 225x2(board pressed), 165x7, 165x5
Dips: 90lbs+bw @ 7 Reps, 90lbs+bw @ 5 Reps, 90lbs+bw @ 3 Reps, 45lbs+bw @ 5 Reps, just bodyweight @ 8 reps
Skull Crushers: (85x5)x4
Seated Overhead Extensions w/ Hammer Curl Bar: 65x8, 65x7,65x7,65x7
Cable Push Down: 80 x 10, 80 x 10, 90x5
Cable Pull Down: 50x10,60x10,50x7,50x7

I know a lot of Tricep work, but the Cable, I don’t include as a real workout, just as a mental boost because of the pump I get, so I bang em quick.

The Skull crushers & Seated overhead extensions I LOVE them, that’s why I do them. But the closegrip bench and DIPS are my Most important Tricep work.

I might take off today, maybe go and run, and have of completely tommarow. We have a Deadlift competition on Friday, not a real competition, but since I started deadlifting I fell in love with it. But a bunch of us at the Gym, 2 workers, My taining partner and I, and another training buddy all deadlifting Friday. Its gonna be amazing. Now I would say im the 2nd weakest person deadlifting (next to my partner lol). The 2 guys at the gym can pull high numbers. One is 165-170 and can pull 500+ Amazing, doesn’t look like he can pull for shit. Small/ short/ 14.5 inch arms, etc. But boy can he pull. The other one is the kid Joey I talk about. He can pull around 450. Its gonna be a lot of fun, and im bringing my camera to catch all lifts on tape. Should be some nice big pulls. We literally all worked it out so we Deadlift on Friday. Its gonna be GREAT!

I really wanted to make sure you guys/gals really get the thanks you deserve!
