May 14 - ATL EF Meet up & my show!

I copied this from the Chat board too - wondered if we are getting coordinated yet?
So far most everyone is either staying at the Sheraton or the Marriot? Or somewhere within 1-2 blocks of the Sheraton. Sounds like everyone is going to be coming in at various times over the course of Friday-Sat. I know I'll be getting down to the Sheraton sometime Fri afternoon and I guess the weigh-in is Friday night.
Who all will be getting in Friday nite? I know Matty is planning to be in & sounds like everyone here at that time will be going out someplace for dinner. I still don't know what the hell I'll be doing, but I bet I'll be hanging out at the Gold's Gym across the street at some point.
Then Sat - the pre-judge show starts at 10 am. Probably good to have everyone who is remotely sober after the previous nite's festivities should meet in the lobby of the Sheraton and head to the pre-judge. If you've never seen a pre-judge, its not as flashy as the nite show, and can actually be tedious at various points depending on how many competitors & how many categories / weight classes, but its fun because it is the nuts & bolts of the competition. A little more free-flow and you get to see everyone. The audience is usually smaller but much more opportunity to support (harrass) whoever you know in the show. /
There is also a bunch of stuff going on during the day Sat in the Sheraton so that should make for good times just wandering around. Downtown ATL isn't the most exciting place on the weekend so it could also be a good time to just hang out w/ everyone.
The night show starts at 7 pm on Sat- same thing - it will be open seating by price section as I understand so probably want to get w/ the group & get a large block of seats for everyone.

Pre-judging is where most contests are won...its also why they are always early am..you are always your driest after being asleep all night....
