Man this guy is bigger than 99% of all ifbb pros and has never competed.

I dont think he looks good nor would I want that build but he is more massive than most of todays pros if not all of them.

good lord. thats ridiculous, but obviously thats what he is going for and definately succeeded. its like he maxed out all his muscles as far as size goes and his skin cant catch up.

Bodybuilding is now a freak show at the Olympia level thats what people want is the freakish and grotesque. Aesthetics and symmetry got left behind many years ago.

I wouldn't say Ronnie looked like shit. He was a bit overweight in the off season but my goodness he was amazing when he hit the stage. I am fan of Ronnie Colmeman and can admit that he put on serious weight in the off season but if you think he looks like total shit, take a look at his DVD, "The Cost Of Redemption" or "Relentless". Amazing size and lean as all heck when it counts. I couldn't condone that look for myself just because I could never afford the insane amounts of juice and Growth Hormone he theoretically takes but hey, more power to him. If I had to choose a physique for myself though I'd have to choose Arnie.

Very good post bro. I am not a fan of Ronnie due to the fact his abs look really distorted and there is huge spaces in between them. I have seen all his videos and yes he is a true freak but just never liked the way his physique looks. And yes this guy is a beast and far from fat and he does look a lot like Cutler.
 
I don't think he holds a candle to Cutler, he's definitely a beast but his chest seems disperportionate to small IMO, and also where are the leg shots?

i cannot get discouraged but only encouraged by guys like this. i am only 19 and sitting at 220 at 5'8''. ( and yes i'm on cycle.) don't flame me please i know what i'm doing.
BOTTOM LINE IS THIS GUY COULD OWN if he got shredded. only thing i'm curious to see are his legs and if he will have any kind of muscle separation when he gets cut up.
 
Guy lives up the road from me. I remember him when he first started training he just fucking grew and grew. Very wealthy, he lives bodybuilding and can afford anything he wants, money is no option. He truly freaks people out!!!!!! I take my hat off to him, he is doing something that only a hand full of people can do!!!

The more I think about it the sorrier I feel for this guy. In all his pictures he looks bloated, red faced, and very uncomfortable. I bet his blood pressure is through the roof! What do you guys think 3g, 4g, 5g of gear a week. Obviously he is on some heavy dosages. You can tell it just by looking at his bloated head. Poor guy will probably be dead by the time he's 30.

Sorry chief but I don't think so... This is Jay hovering around the 300 mark Where is this ripped look you speak of and the difference in height is about an inch. While standing next to Victor they are the same height and Victor is 5'8" right? Anyway, why dog the guy? He's just as huge as the big boys and that's that.

So what? You found a lousy video of Jay posing when he was fat. There's no way he's 300 there.

Jay is probably more like 325 there. Check out the "one step closer" dvd. 10 days after the 2005 Olympia he steps on a scale and his weight is 294...and he's looking great, and ripped.

I didn't say he looked lousy you did. And I own the DVD you speak of. 325lbs is awefully high for Jay. Jay's off season weight is in the 300lbs range. Ronnie is a different story though. And as for the conditioning that Jay is in at that point in time, well there are other at different times where he is in comperable shape. It called the offseason look right.

I'll be the first to agree Jay looks lousy in your video.

You've got "one step closer", so review it and you'll see he's looking great (he does a full posing routine in the bathroom) at 294 and he states there that he's going to be 20 lbs heavier next time you see him. If you compare his 294 in 2005 to the 2007video of him guest posing, you can see at least 20 lbs or more of fat and bloat.

I read some of his posts on anther board. He is a joke and the definition of an abuser. I feel really sorry for anyone who's self esteem is so low that they decide to kill themselves with AAS. He'll be dead by 30 unless he makes some serious lifestyle changes.

Give respect were is due guys it dosent take just massive amounts of drugs to get to that size. It takes a lot of different factors including the genetics for your body to accept that much muscle size with out your heart blowing out through your ears. The guy is a freak in every sense of the word. To get to that status witch is 300lbs at 5'9" with very visible abs and veins every where takes a bit more than just roids. It takes a life time of dedication and desire beyond believe. I know guys that take grams of gear and they look like dog shit and are barely breaking 200 lbs. Trust me most of you that are dogging him is because you cant fathom the amount of hard work and dedication it takes to get to that point. Weather he is a tool as a person or not. I admire the hard work he has put in to get to that point. Any of you that think that he is not stage worthy to go up with the top dogs in the ifbb are crazy. If you read a little on his comments section you can see that Lee promotions is trying to get him to sign on and thats the people that have Trey Brewer and many other pros on there roster for events.

Thing is when Trey Brewer cuts down he looks like shit as do most of these guys like Greg Kovacs , and I cant even remember the other Muscletech guy with the guns. But he looked like shit when he cut too. Bout killed himself to turn pro and doesnt do shit in the pro ranks.
 
when I am at my PC tomorrow I will post some of his diet posts from milos scarcev's board. It is a joke. I do agree that his genetics and drug regamine must be top notch. From what I have read into his diet he know fuck all about proper nutrition.
 
Most of those huge guys dont need to diet though. When you carry that much muscle mass you can cut on 5-6k calories per day. In order for them to gain any weight they have to eat everything in site including fatty meats and whole foods. They cant get the calories they need in a day eating clean or even semi clean. I have a friend here in Miami that weighs around 260 and eats like shit. He will go to Macdonalds and order 10 cheese burgers and a bunch of other shit and eat it in one sitting. He sports an 8 pack all year with ab veins and has 21 inch arms. If he does not constantly eat he will get smaller. It is a full time job maintaining that much mass on your bones with out loosing it. It is an every day battle with no breaks in between. My friend even gets up every 3 hours to eat a tub of cottage cheese during the night. Its one of the only semi healthy foods he eats all day.

So all in all i really mix it up and like i say the main objective is to really get as much blood into the muscle as possible so its really really pumped. I also feel mind muscle connection is very important. If u not mentally focused on that specific muscle u working when training u wont get 100% out of ur workout. If u training and are thinking about what u going to do the next day u might as well go home. I train six days a week, the sixth day is normally touch ups or i use the sixth day as a day to train a certain muscle twice that week.

Well my food bill is going to go up drastcally now.......For food , i would say to save urself money find a meat wholesaler that has a good reputation and order ur meats and stuff u can freeze and keep for along time in bulk. U will get a way better price than going to the grocery store and buying weekly. Plus f u keep on going back to the same meat wholesaler and build a good relationship with them they will give u even better prices. For supplments i get from the person that supplies most of the supplement shops. So i get the same price as what the supplment stores buy for. I pay the wholesale price instead of retail price. So my best advice is to network, ask around. All this will save u quite a bit of money. Network network, the further up the pyrimid u buy the cheaper u get for. Thats my best advice i can offer u in how to uy for cheaper if u dont have a sponsership.

Well my eating has been very poor. I eat cleanly but i under eat by alng way. Like i mentioned, if i eat around 200-250 grams of protien a day thats a good day. I have one day a week where i eat whatever i want and thats on a sunday. My eating has been my biggest set back, but thats all going to change.

Luke Wood was kind enough to help me out with my eating the other day. I know my physic is going to respond drastically to this change in my eating that he made. I have been assing around for way to long with my eating and now its time to grow and add on a span more muscle and progress alot more quickly. so with me eating the way i should be i will see huge results, i know it. Time to ake my physic to the next level!!!!

So thank u somuch Luke, it was really kind of you to help me out. I know ur help will make a huge difference....I dont set boundries so the skies the limit!!!!

I have learnt that more is not always better, we dont grow in the gym we grow when we are resting. Plus if u are over trained u are prone to injuries, u wont be training to ur maximum effort , all in all u will be just doing yourself more harm then good and waisting ur time. After that week off when i get back into the gym i feel like a new person.

For example its 1:00pm here now and i have only eaten once. So on that note i must go cook now.

I just have days where i really battle to eat the amount of protein i need, and i dont get in the correct amount. I must tighten up on that. If anything i find myself under eating. Which i know is hindering my progress.

So we will see what happens when i eventually get up on stage lol........

To me it proves that 2 grams of protein per pound of lean mass is not exactly necessary and not written in stone. The guy seems really humble and descent by the way he talks. he is his own worst critic and is admitting openly to his weaknesses. would be interesting to see him get his diet dialed in and get on stage.

If he worked with a prep guy who knew his shit he could make some big waves in the IFBB. There is no doubt about that.

honestly, I gotta give the guy some props for getting to the level of mass he's at. Though, I bet he feels like shit 99.99% of the time. Look at the photos of him laying down, slumped over, etc. Has to be short of breath and winded a lot. I hope that he lives a long and healthy life, if that is what he desires.
 
Ok, I don't want to be the ignorant judgemental guy, but just looking at the pics of his face really bugs me. Those pictures of his face make me think he has an IQ in the range of about 65. The guy may be a rocket scientist for all I know, but he looks dumb. He looks dumb as fuck, apparently rich as fuck, and if you are a combo of dumb, rich (meaning NO responsibility throughout the day = tons of training/eating/sleeping time) plus the best gear you can get = THIS GUY. I feel like I have minimized this guys life in a few sentences, but also I feel I have hit the nail on the head. Young, dumb and full of....money, steroids and idle time. Makes me want to puke in my socks.

I am making discussion. He is obviously not giving bodybuilding a bad name if some well-known pros are trying to promote him. You may not think he looks good, but he is huge, lean, and for the most part pretty proportional. Isn't that what bodybuilding (at the professional level) is about today anyway?

Ruhl also has sick definition and has been competing for years. He is featured in advertisements and has a huge name and following in the sport. This guy has his Myspace page. I wouldn't compare the 2.
