Lower spine/back pain after squating ( also down right leg) advice ?

today was back day.... it inflamed which the pain is back now ( not like before) but deff back and killing me..... what kills me is I went light and no deadlifts involved. I was feeling so much better than week 1-2... hopefully in 4-6 more weeks itll be gone....

No one here knows whats wrong with your back. It could be one of several different things. Go see a specialist... get xrayed.. get anything from a professional not an online forum.

You still haven't seen a chiropractor??? Your asking for trouble at a young age...Stop all workouts and focus on healing. This will take months to heal.

IM ICEING AND TAKING Ibuprofen as we speak in bed….. can walk but not bend over in front of myself… ANY ONES HAVE ADVICE?

This is a recipie for disaster right here. anti-inflamatories and ice SLOW healing to a crawl. If your using them and still lifting your not feeling the full pain you should and lfiting shouldnt cause pain so if your hurt, STOP doing what hurts or your asking for trouble.

It could be a simple pull or something more serious, hard to say. The bad news is you will likely get 5 different opinions if you see 5 different docs.

The key is to find a chiro or the like who is not just a chiro but a PT and massage therapist as well. Muscle adhesion, which most chiros are clueless about, can cause a lot of pain and poor mobility leading to skeletal problems. Finding someone who knows all aspects is key.

Your form and lack of mobility could also be a large contributor to your condition so once you get back on track having a few sessions with a good mobility coach to assess your form and mobility would be a good idea.

I know I'm new here and this is my first post, but I have had a VERY similar experience back when I was around 24 (35 now). I was lifting heavy, starting getting sharp shooting pains down my spine, lower back and down my right leg. After ignoring it for a relatively short time because I did not want to stop lifting and was on test at the time, I ended up severely fuckin up my Sciatic nerve. Thats the pain you feel going down your right leg. I was bed bound for over 2 months as a result.

I would say to stay away from a chiro(never had any luck with them) but DEF go to see your PCP and DEF STOP LIFTING!! Until your Doc says your 100% and maybe even after some physical therapy, DO NOT continue your normal lifting routine, I know thats the last thing you want to hear but its your only option. Seriously you do not want to injure your Sciatic nerve, it's a problem that will plague you for the rest of your life, I speak from experience. Best of luck.

saw chiro about 2-3 times where he does his cracking fix..... I stopped all meds and icing and doing daily stretching through out the day... still runs down leg most of day but feels better than last week and week before.... hopefully with no deadlifts and squats and bentover rows, seated rows, and tbars..... I should be fine ......... although I do miss those a lot and scared that im loosing gains by not doing them..... I feel like shit but no choice ..... hopefully full recovery is on its way!

I hope your chiro took xrays before touching you, if he took them xrays you would know what area your bulge is at...Your a long way from recovery, if you are hitting the weights still...Any kinda movement can inflame your bulge and put you back to square one....I had the same problem with my L5 and never healed while hitting the weights because sometimes I'd over do it...
I took 5 months off with therapy and that helped. Still can't do squats or bent over rolls with the bar and will never be able to do them again...I just find different ways of working out...Like hack squat or dumbbell squat....Bent over rows I use the cables with a wide bar and it works well. Hope that helps and good luck with recovery...
