Lifting Same Muscle Group w/ 48 Hours Rest

wondering if its ok to lift biceps after only 2 days rest once a week, since they are smaller muscles. say, tuesdays and thursdays i include bicep workout.
 
They ususally get hit twice a week if you have an arms day, and also they can get quite a workout with back.
 
so I guess this program is ok? with the rest between working same muscle ?

monday: chest-leg
tuesday: Shoulder-Biceps
wednesday: Back-Triceps
Thurdsday: off
Friday: Chest-leg
Saturday: Back-shoulder
Sunday: off

How long have you been training for?

That looks more like a pro's training split when they are getting ready for a comp and they train twice a day.

I love Arnie's encyclopedia of bodybuilding, but most of the training routines etc he gives would be overtraining for a lot of people.

Also, it depends on how many exercises and how many sets/reps you are doing for each bodypart.

Would you post that up please.

Tuesday: (Shoulder-Biceps)

DB Hammer Curl 3x6
Concentration 3x6

Wednesday: (Back-Triceps)
Deadlift 5x5
T-bar Row 5x5
Chin PullDown 4x6

Pushdown 3x6

Thursday: OFF

Friday: (Leg-Chest)
Squat 4x5 / 1x3 / 1x8

Reason cause of only 1 day of deadlift its because Deads is badass.
 
I would rather you hit each muscle once a week and get ample rest time...

I know when I got into training, I did too much, I thought more was better.

Right now some of my workouts are really fast, 30 min top, and the feedback I am getting is that I am looking bigger :)

That book should be on everyones shelf as a reference.

The workouts are a killer though.
