If you decide to try it just take one, too much will have the opposite effect.

OTC stuff like that - Benadryl, Nyquil, etc - does not make me sleep. I've tried it before. But thanks for the thought!!

"No matter what you eat" aside, I bloat specifically from oats & peanut butter... Did you eat PB last night? I didn't look. But then I get hella vascular from a fat load 24-36 hours later.

I'm probably not helping. JEN You are doing Great. Keep that pretty little bobble blonde head held high :heart:

Jen, have you tried digestive enzymes?
 
Jens I know this alittle bit of a personal question, but how are those colon tabs working for you? How many times do you go to the bathroom, and has this pattern changed?

Did these foods always bloat you?

I had some AN almond butter last nite - but even when I didn't eat it - I still bloat up. I guess that's just how my body works. :rolleyes:

Skittles: I was taking (when I first started all this) Animal pak which has Dig Enzymes in it but couldn't keep taking it cuz of how it made me feel.

The colon cleanse tabs keep the mail moving, so to speak - without them I don't "go." And today I "went" 2x.

And I never really paid attn. to the bloat before - cuz I never needed to. Wasn't important before, ya know?
 
What happened last comp when you sodium depleted?

I have no idea, just suggestions........but I noticed alot of egg whites, maybe the sodium is causing your 'bloat' (5 egg whites have about 530 mgs)

What about the turkey patties? Are they packaged?

Sorry girl...thought I saw a pattern in your last few food logs and wondered if maybe it's too late for an alternative fat source, no matter how much you love it...

I'd flippin "hurl the PB off the back porch" ...

Jens, then I'm going to suggest to you, once you are done the show, a good scrub a dub dub on those intestinal walls, it sounds like you need it.

I know it sounds gross, but you have some built up stuff in there.
 
Personally the colon cleanse tabs dont' work as well as the powder. Though the powder is an experience to wash down.

But yep, I'd go w/ all very simple foods at this point -- toss the PB. HOw do just plain almonds work for ya?
 
no worries sweetie it will all come together.. I also have major problems with bloat but your water depletion will take care of that.. like that horoscope said just relax... just keep talking with your trainer so she can ajust anything that is needed

Well the capsules don't give me a diahhrea effect - it's just for staying regular. My trainer suggested "Dieter's Tea" so I got some to try. She said stay near a bathroom after taking it. :worried:

I'll go back to flax oil I guess - the pills make me burp them up funny.


Skittles - yes I was regular before my cals dropped so low. And I've been taking Trex for about 2-3 weeks now & it doesn't help with the bloat on me.

Jen, I just gotta' tell you.....your log was the first one I read when I came to this site. I've been paying attention to your training and diet and girl - you got it goin' on!!!! I had dropped out of the training thing for a while and upon coming back to it and reading your progress (and a few others), I'm back at full tilt. Being that you're only a year older than I am is a great inspiration to me and I just want to say "thank you".

You're going to be AWESOME! Keep on rockin'!!!!!! :garza:

Well when I first started taking them I had never taken a fatburner before & they were free - so I tried them. At first they made me jittery/jumpy - then I got used to them. I guess they "worked" but I used them in conjunction with a competition diet plan.

If you've been depleting then you might expect to see some lack of definition, i.e. "flat" (like flat muscles). Also wondering if you've been fighting a cold or something that that has affected how you look as well. I'd expect to see some filling out w/ high carb day :)

OUCH!!!! Nothing ticks me off like a broken nail! I always blame it on my man (no matter if he's around or not). He just learned to appologize to make me feel better!!! lol

question.....every time I make Tilapia it tastes really fishy. Is there something I can do to tame that taste? I usually do butter, olive oil, and a couple seasonings, but I still can't mask that taste!! YUK

Hmmmm - my tilapia never tastes "fishy" - EVER. Usually a fishy taste/smell is a sign of un-fresh fish. Does it smell when you 1st buy it?

And this is more than a broken nail - it's Major Damage!! I don't think she'll be able to even put a tip on it - I had to cut it down so far but couldn't get it all off where it broke cuz it's way down on my own nail. :worried: Ouch!!

What a coincidence - hubby broke one of his - albeit natural - nails 1/2 off today himself. Lotta pain in our house today!

Well, I usually buy my Tilapia frozen - so no, it doesn't smell. Maybe that's the problem, I should buy it straight out of the meat case to be sure it's fresh.

Well the nail was my own nail with pink & white acrylic on top - now there's nothing! OW!

I get my Tilapia at Costco in the fish dept - in a big pack - not frozen.

You may want to get som Tylenol PM to hel you get to sleep the night before the show, it works well for me. Man the night before a show I feel like a kid waiting for Christmass morning.

We're having food at our house cuz here in DE - last call is around 12 midnight to 1 am, depending on the discretion of the venue. So I didn't want to get jammed up if the show ran late.

Got a bunch of food planned for that nite (pasta, dip, etc) then brunch the next morning & some ANPB sometime next week. Plus, our 4th anniversary is tomorrow - so hubby & I will celebrate next week with dinner out.
