Well, it's been interesting to see the changes.....Had some good ab-age the other day he took a pic of....it's a page or two back somewhere....
And being I've never done this before - I kinda don't really "know" my body at all.....I don't know what works for me & what doesn't or what will bloat me & what won't......By the end of everyday -- I'm bloated....period....no matter what the day's food entailed....
For example, last Tuesday when I did have the 2 tblsp. of ANPB the next morning I had full-cut abs --> so it's weird to me that something I can't have will make me look "harder." So I did learn something....
And, like, I wouldn't know what to change at this point anyway....
Fred told me before that each diet he does for someone is customized to that person.....
Another thing I've learned is that comp. dieting kills my libido dead -- I have NO interest or desire....none...
understandalble... somethings work some dont. Thats why I am saying listen to your body.
for instance I had to drop broccoli two weeks before comp.. I found It bloated me. Green beans also and I ended up having asparagus my second comp for a week.. yea.. just asparagus yuck.
the oats and rice will cause some bloat, it has water in it. think of rice swelling.. ? make sense. thats why I really didn't understand why this was in your diet everyday.
My diet consited of
lean meat (turkey, taliapa, chicken breast)
greens ( broccoli, green beans, asparagus)
water
for 5 days out the week and then two carb ups that had one meal out of the day that included
Protein lean meat
and sweet potoato and steel cut oats
Simple yet it worked for me.
I don't know your body, Fred doesn't know your body, only you do. I know you have to take close notes, ask a million questions and make alist of what agrees and doesn't and go from there.
don't be afraid to say.. HEY this doesn't work for me. or this bloats me.. etc. Its his only way to learn you. If you don't tell him he won't know. He's only guessing that what he is doing is working
You've seen improvements, as have we all, you have come along way. I've always questioned myself though that if I remove this X item that I know is some way holding me back, then how much better will I look...
You are learning and we are only here to help you learn from experience. I didn't have a trainer, and come the week before that first comp that I took on short notice I had NO idea of what to do. I took advice and even had a back up plan... I learned even then that certain things bloated me and that I had certain foods the next day that made me look even better than when I was on stage.
Its all about Growth, Your own... learning thru experience, taking notes and keeping a journal. Then going back and seeing what did what. share that with Fred so that he can become a better trainer to YOU. He's not a gonna work magic with out the tools you need to provide him with. Its 80% you and 20% him. You are more influential to your sucess than he ever will be.
