Is 1" enough for glutes?

Is a 1" needle long enough for glutes. I'm 5'11" 175 just to give you an idea of my size. I only have 1" so if this is not long enough for the glutes where should I inject? Thanks

Looking for an area without too many nerves or blood vessels my 1" needles will go into. Thanks

1" works well for delts

I imagine 1" would work in the glutes if you're real lean. I've never tried it though...always go with 1.5".

The rule of thumb with Glute injections (I am a medic in the Army so I give a lot of shots) draw your butt cheek into 4 quadrants. A line right down the middle of the cheek and one line right across the middle of the cheek. Then inject in the upper outter quadrant. This will ensure you miss the sciatic nerve and all blood vessels. Be safe!

upper outer is the rule... but i think hes just wondering if 1" is long enough to get deep into the muscle. what size do you use in the army?

I go with 1.5" for glutes.

You can use 1" in the glutes as long as you aren't a lard ass. Other than that quads rule for 1" pinz. Delts work well too but I prefer quads. Check out spotinjections.com for more info.

1 1/2 (1.5) " is the way to go, if you don't have the pins, get them

I think 1" is too short.

I used 1 inch pins on my first cycle. I use 1.5 for glutes and quads now.

I read something that said if you inject into fat it just takes longer to absorb. I think you'll be ok with the 1 inch pins but it's really easy to order some 1.5's from GPZ. www.getpinz.com. Mine came in 3 days.
