Sorry for a MeMeMeMe thread ...

I'm getting enough PMs to justify posting an explanation (I apologize for the length, but those who care will read it, those who don't want to read it but feel compelled to just post a useless insulting comment, go fuck yourselves, 'kay?):

IN THE EVENT I QUIT THIS SITE IT IS NOT IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, FORM OR FASHION BECAUSE OF DIPSHIT KB!!! I know what kind of poster he is, okay? Nor did I go crying to administration about him and as a result he was banned. I was just as surprised as anyone else and did nothing to generate that action. KB got banned because of KB, not because of anything I did. All he managed to do was bring some points home to me that have been rattling around in my head for a while, specifically:

1. I'm spending too much time here that should be spent doing other things (studying, working, exercising, etc.).

2. I don't know if my perception of "women hating" on the board is just MY perception, or if it's real. I really don't mind teasing, but I keep picking up genuine bitterness, anger, and negativity coming from real places, directed at women. And this is not just one specific poster or thread. However, I'm also willing to admit I'm no longer sure if it's the forum that has changed or just my perception. I'm willing to admit it might be me. I need some distance to clear my vision.

3. I'm getting really disgusted with seeing guys posting that a 26 or 27 year old women is getting old and may be needing plastic surgery or HRT when I'm facing my 43rd birthday in a few weeks (I won't even talk about "Perfect Weight" posts or "Perfect Waist Circumference" posts ...). I'm thinking that perhaps the reason the site is getting on my nerves isn't the site so much as me growing up and losing my tolerance for superficial bullshit. Scary thought that. In short, coming to C&C is starting to make me feel old.

4. I've been spending less and less time here because lately the board (C&C mostly, which I keep getting drawn back to like a junkie) just seems to either piss me off or makes me sad. All the good posters, who generated genuinely thought provoking, conversational posts (you know who they were) seem to have evaporated. Some very good posters are still here, but a LOT of the best material gets drowned under comments that sound like they sprang out of a 7th grade locker room.

Musclemom always seemed to me to be very balanced and full of good common sense. Her posts were always well put, thoughtful and insightful, and I enjoyed reading them. In addition to all this she knew how to kid and have fun. From all I know of her here from her posts and k messages, she has a good heart and is a very kind person, but also strong and firm.

I think there's plenty that women need to be given shit for, just as there's alot that men do that we deserve to get shit for. What I didn't like was that some guys had a bad personal experience and would come here not just to grouse, but to paint all women like their ex's and basically debase any woman here who "dared" open her mouth about anything. I mean, when it comes to individuals......like Biteme's current wife who needs to be tossed in a woodchipper fargo stylie..........I have no problem with what get's said about a woman like that. But that's an individual case. There's no reason to come here and shit on some of the good girls here. I'd be pissed if some woman came here and generalized some male bullshit on me when I exhibit none of the traits of that particular individual.

As for Kb, the only problem I had with him was that at times he'd throw his appaling game at girls that just got here or aren't down with that kind of banter. But we can clearly see that there are quite a few women here that like him and know what he's about and have no problem going rounds with him. So I don't think he should be banned for good. Someone should just let him know that accosting the fresh meat is off limits because we actually want women to come here and stick around. There's some girls that are completely unfazed by someone like KB and actually like that type of humor..........some girls, Rottenwillow comes to mind, give back better than they get. But the women should have a place to go here where the men simply aren't allowed. I mentioned this to MM and I think it's a good idea. The women's forum should actually be locked off to men and any guy caught creating an alter to go there should be banned 4life, end of discussion. But the rules should stay more lax when it comes to the general board. The women that don't want to hear about Wulfgar's scat fetish or KB's fetish for speed bagging a girls face during sex..........they don't have to come here.

Again, I don't particularly enjoy everything that get's said by some of the men here............but I don't want to see the place get put on lockdown. Cause as much as some shit pisses me off, it's what makes the place addicting to come to. I'm not sure there's a place ANYWHERE in life where you're going to come into contact with such a diverse segment of society. I mean most chatboards are pretty homogenous.......ie BORING!! This place, for whatever reason.......attracts people from such a wide spectrum of society. Every race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status........ok, we probably don't have too many homeless people nor do we have alot of millionaires...........but you get what I'm saying.........it's all represented.

Yes, some people do seem to ditch their humanity from time to time..........but that's what "ignore" is for.
