I want to opt for hairline transplant

Just to straighten my hairline as much as poss. I have'nt actually experienced any hair falling out, but do think i am starting to recede a bit. Just the temple regions. Anyone else had just this done? I model for a hobbie every now and again so i need to keep my hair.

I had one done and I think in hind sight I shoudl have just accepted hairloss as a part of life. A lot of money and now I need to have work done on removing the scar at the back. I look decent, but long term I am fighting a losing battle no matter what.

That sucks bro. I remember seeing your post on this topic a while back too. It looked pretty good though. I thought you may of been the best person to ask. I would only be going for the temples because that is all I need. Its not noticable either because my crop hides it, and not many hair follicles needed i would of thought. How is the growth in general though?

Good to see you too RR. k

Good. Then there is the money on propecia to stop any further loss. I don't want to spend all my life taking propecia either.

newhair.com where all the celebs go.

hair transplants r very advanced now. some people with them have THICKER hair then i do!

A basic tenant of plastic surgery is to restore form and function. This tenant holds true for the practice of hair restoration surgery as well. Thus within the constraints of available supply and demand the ultimate goal of surgical hair restoration is to naturally restore form and function of scalp hair. For example, the result of a hair transplant using a combination of hair grafts should be to produce a hairline and overall result that is natural and not noticed as a surgical hair restoration. (Fig 1) New advances in the efficient procurement of occipital donor tissue and microscopic dissection of individual hair grafts permit this degree of advanced reconstruction.

If your still interested, I have a great plastics guy that I can refer you to. His rates are great too. I just had my frontal/ temporal area done. He told me I should stay on propecia becuase the top is thinning (im young 30s) and he also give a discount on the propecia if you get it from him. (I think its like 65.00/month) or you can just order the generic stuff from some international pharm if you trust its real.
Anyway shoot me an email let me know where you live and I can give you more info. His rate was sooooo much better than the Medical Hair restoration place I talked to, it would be worth flying in and having it done if your interested. BTW, MHR is a joke, they wanted 7500.00 for 1000 to 1500 grafts? OUCH. with them or others (bosely) your paying for the name/chain/ pretty consultant they have you talk to before hand etc

I intend getting mine reversed and will take the HT out as a result of growing disllusioned with propecia.

DON'T DO IT ! I have had 3 they told me I would only need 2 and its still not perfect, good but not perfect. It's not the results I upset about it's that I can already tell in a couple more years I am going to need another one. I will probably have 4 before I am 40 years old. The rogaine, propecia, transplants its a real pain in the ass and the wallet. Just know that if you do one you are going to have a MASSIVE scar from ear to ear and if you ever want to shave your head and just be bald there is going to be a that scar and the questions as to why you have it. If I get my hair cut with a number 4 or smaller with the clippers you can see the scar. I totally regret it. If you have any questions feel free to email me I WISH SOMEONE WOULD HAVE TALKED ME OUT OF IT I was 31 when I got the first one not realizing what an uphill battle this was going to be don't just think of the now like I did. Think 5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40 years down the road because thats how long you will be fighting it.

I absolutely hear you Bro. I now have to go and get the scar reversed. They told me I'd need another one! No I don't! I don't care how good or bad the reverse of the scar is, I'll shave my head in a few years time no matter what.

Find the best looking guy you can from the 1960's, get a recent updated photo and I bet he's bald and doesn't give a shit!!!!
