I don't think it's pathetic ... it depends on what your goals are ... if you want size ... then you may want to go heavy .. but if you want leg endurance .... more reps are better

hey smallmovesal, i wouldnt work my legs until its totally recuperated if youre just starting. and incorporate working the ''ass'' on your leg days. and give the lunges a try on the smith machine, youll love the burn...
if that is in reference to chest - I think we all know that site stimulation is not going to burn off fat - otherwise a six pack would be much easier.
if you build up your pectoral muscles and especially the upper/inner wall of them, you will actually have enhanced cleavage.
