No, there was nothing wrong with it, I mentioned something unimportant and talked about a band that was playing here locally. That was it. I didn't keep harassing her LOL. I deleted her number from my phone.
 
Truthfully, you shouldn't give a shit or micromanage your texting habits or interactions with women. The mistake most guys make is trying to cater to a certain chick or putting stock in the actions of 1 specific girl.

I just say whatever the fuck I'd normally say and if a girl doesn't dig it and see my value, then it saves me from wasting my time to begin with.

You're still communicating the same message, but if you're slightly over the top you make it so your intent is understood. Nothing wrong with clarity in what you're trying to convey.

She would text me every day asking me how my day was going, so it's not like she just wanted to fuck.
