I know it takes time for economic factors to take hold after the changes are made.. thus now = past 2 years of "change"

How much will your taxes go up if obama gets elected?? hope you don't have an inheritance coming.. you will lose 50% of that.. the list goes on..

The republicans get blame too. Here's what they've failed to do:

1) Drastically cut corporate taxes
2) Massively downsize government (I'm thinking 60%+ year one)
3) Massively deregulate industry
4) Tort reform with "loser ways" requirements
5) Big tax credits (i.e. 85%) for capital investment in the US

It doesn't help that the dems oppose all this, but the republicans need to get this stuff done.

Now back to my original point. The dems promised "change" in 2006 and knew damn good and well they couldn't deliver it with a republican president. That's no different than someone campaigning on any other false promise.
