How the fuck can people disrespect soldiers like this?

Please explain the things they did that brought them this disrespect...that is what I dont know and understand.

I'll tell you why.......the politicians, and others in charge of our military consider(ed) us expendable. Existing for war......if you happen to survive, they want nothing to do with you. If not for public outcry, they would send our people into more LOSE_LOSE situations. The simple fact that more servicemen and women have to die (Iraq), is a classic example of politics. Papa Bush could have eliminated Saddam years ago. He failed to, so who must suffer for his mistakes..........only God knows how many servicemen/women will die. Apparently it's okay with most of them, because nobody asked for his fucking head. Must be okay with the American public, unless it's their sons/daughters going over there. Of course the public is brainwashed into thinking that it's always good versus evil. That our way is always just and right. Bullshit. If anybody should be making the money, it should be the soldiers, not the politicians.

First of all, there are good and bad soldiers like everyday life, thats a given. A lot of it was the times. The hippies as Huntmaster said were in a love the world state and violence was against everything that was going on at the time. The media is the most bastardized creation since the beginning of time and they went to work on that shit. Like Watergate, who really cared the fucking republicans ripped off the democrats? Media made sure we had something to read. The people were just being led by the press. I have never considered them disrespected. The average age of a WW2 Vet was 26, it was 19 in Viet Nam. Thats some nasty shit to ask a kid to do for someone else for no reason.
