I can not eat enough 'clean' calories in a day to put on weight, and that is at 6 meals a day. So, yes I do eat some fast food. I try to keep it within reason. If you get the Double Whopper without cheese and mayo it's not all that bad.

Well, since I've got 2 1/2 weeks until my competition and I've been on this damn cutting diet for several months now, I'm really looking forward to getting back to bulking. After trying to cut, I don't think I'll have any problem bulking. I'm sure that everyone is different, but it is much easier for me to bulk than cut. In the past, I've basically eaten as much as I could. I ate often, and lots too. This, I believe, caused me to add too much extra fat though. I'm talking about several peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, a gallon of milk, weight gain powder, pasta, potatoes, ice cream, cookies, beef, pork, chicken a day. I am gonna clean my diet up this winter in hopes of not adding as much fat.

But I never eat cheap American junk food like potato chips and candy bars or even fast food, cause I'd rather have exotic culinary delicacies and exquisite pastry's and desserts at an expensive restaurant instead of that junk you get at the grocery store or fast food joint. :p

Same here brother, why bother with the small stuff when u can eat like a KING!

Yeah, I have to once again agree with both Max and Badgermilk. I'm not a big fan of fast and junk food and much prefer to indulge in rich expertly prepared food if I'm going to truly enjoy an eating experience. So instead of fast food, I prefer to spend some cash and go to a fine restaurant for some fine culinary masterpieces or even an expensive prime, bloody rare porterhouse steak and skip the 99 cent spamburger. And like Badger said, a lot of fast food like burgers, hot dogs, doughnuts and such totally bog me down and in the process make me lethargic as well as giving me gas and the runs if you know what I mean. That's definitely not the way I want to feel (kind of like a stuffed pig or beached whale), especially during the hot summer months.:o

I try to have a daily intake of about anything thats not nailed down........ NO seriously I eat pretty healthy, 6-9 ounces of tuna a day, 4-5 high protein'low carb shakes, beef=medium or boneless'skinless chicken 9-12 ounces, 6-9 ounces of turkey, 6-9 ounces of sliced roastbeef= as rare as I can find it, 1 cup of oatmeal 2 slices of whole wheat toast with peanut butter. These are just some of the things I try to get down my throat in a day. THIS IS NOT MY DAILY AVERAGE........ I mix and match days with what I just listed If I do eat fast food....occasionally.... I always stick to some kind of a chicken sandwhich. Usually plain...... Just the chicken and the bun.....And of course no less than 2 gallons of water a day to wash it all down with.

Well, i agree that the fast food thing gets bad quick, and you do get sick of it, and you are just as hungry again in 1 hr. I have a very huge appetite, sometimes when i eat fast food i will eat 2 foot long subway super clubs. (double the meat on each) with all kinds of vegies.

WHen i have no choioce but to grab something quiick, i usually try to grap subway, or pita pit, as they are low in fat and you actually can get lots of protien. I am a sucker for blizzards and pizza! THey are my worst enemies, and i try top stay away from them when strying to slim down.

For the most part i eat really clean and different. I usually have about 3 whey isolate shakes/day. I make big batches of chilli and freeze it to take to work. I use the BBQ like a master and cook great suppers - salmon - steaks - shish-ka-bobs etc. Also i like to do my chicken and beef up in stirfrys and eat with rice etc. Being originally from the east coast, i have at least 2 suppers/week of fresh seafood! I luv it, and it is so good for you, not just because of the protien content, but because of the fats in it. ALl kinds of fish, and scallops are my favorite! I also eat alot of ceaser salad with low fat dressing for sides with my main protien entrees. As you get good and fast at cooking it becomes less of a problem to have many clean meals a day. You learn to make large servings and save some for the next day etc.

Peace
Mavy

Bulk cycle- 8000-10000 cal per day. hard for me to get over 8000 though. And they are all good calories, eating 6-7 times per day. I do not do bulk cycles anymore, can't carry the weight, it's just too hard on my joints.
