Well I have been honestly debating this with my boss a brillian 60 year old cardiologist whom I share an office with b/c of space, we sit in the same room.
He is pro-obama but bit thinking he has made alot of blunders.
I bring up some socioliogists, particularly one in the UK (who is black) who is the UK saying that if Obama is elected, it will set back race relations 40 years!
We have been debating that quite a bit. That America is basically fucked. No matter who is the next president, we are just fucked and it is past the point of no return we talked about today. Neither McCain nor Obama can do anything.
It is a job of a bullypuppit to rally people to a cause. On that matter he argued, Obama wins, McCain with his short stuffy arm and his dyslexic style of speech giving would not rally a people.
But, as devil's advocate, Obama and his speeches without clearly an idea or record can show or impress me with anything he could accomplish. Bush and McCain hate each other. McCain picked the Palin thing to get them onboard. He is an independent and I wouldve like him to pick Lieberman, Gore's pick for VP in 2000 and if they had won Florida, might very well be atop the presidential ticket for the Democrats.
I do not think skewering Palin is appropriate. Dailykos and them people were spamming webboards (we all hate spammers) that she covered for her daughter's down's syndrome pregnancy forcing her to come out that her 17 year old daughter was pregnant so it was impossible.
The left really disgusted me on that one. Even though I am left of center (I know, I took the survey, I was next to Gandhi on the Cartesion coordinate overlay). So, I just want what is best for America. I have no burning issues.
I am simply, lets get it done type of guy.
I am seriously thinking with the whiffing Obama has been doing. Particularly his weakness of demeaning women criticism with Clinton campaign,, he would be so stupid to say "lipstick on a pig is still a pig". He lies and dances and says stuff, but everyone got it after she used the reference in what's the difference between a hockeymom and pitbull "LIPSTICK".
So Great, Obama is typical politician lying to me. Who the hell buys that explanation?
So now I am still thinking Obama is the best Speaker and rallys the world to the USA. That a black man, muslim can be president> He is not muslim but the muslim street believes that a muslim born is always a muslim. So anyways.
For the world, I guess Obama I will have to reluctantly vote for. But Goddam, he has fucked it up over the summer and may possibly lose.
If the retard wasnt so dam arrrogant, he wouldve picked Hillary for VP.
That wouldve negated the Palin insanity and the election wouldve been a done deal! I wonder if his pride will fuck shit up in foreign policy. Plus he has no experience.
Its like a ping-pong game in my mind. John McCain knows how to get things done as he knows the system. Obama knows jack shit and his greenness is showing thru.
Also, he cant speak intelligently without a teleprompter.
I wonder if I vote for him and how he fails as McCain will too given we are too far gone. How that vote will ruin race relations over the next four years

It's not that I am left wing or right wing. As I stated I am leaning toward Obama and I am not the one who is wringing their hands lately about Obama's gaffes.

Top Clinton advisors have accused him of sexism. If a presidential candidate had any sense. HE would avoid that context. Which he essentially called Palin a pig and the next line said she was a stinky fish.
Given the context of the tremendous outrage and accusations of sexism and statements. Shouldnt a community organizer I mean president candidate have a little more sense?
