Gutted: ruptured biceps tendon

From fucking Storm Trooper strength, energy and power to lounge chair-dweller in a brace.

I have just emerged from surgery to repair by distal biceps tendon, which was torn from the bone during my recent boxing match. I threw a 3 punch combination with a right hook to finish and instead of keeping my arm at 90 degrees - I straightened it looking for more power and hit my opponent flush on side of his noggin. I heard the pop, then saw the bicep roll up my arm to the shoulder like a shutter, then the pain kicked in. I rushed to my corner with my oppo in hot pursuit. The fucker kept hitting me even with my back turned. It was only round 3 so I couldn't go on with one arm.

Gutted! He won as I couldn't go on - long story short, I'm sitting here pissed off and unable to move my arm. Worse still is that the doctor fucked up the 1st operation and had to go back in and do it again. Ouch!!!

I was on a 10 week Dbol, Test and Var cycle, which finished two weeks out from the fight. Some boys have intimated to "go back on" to assist with the repair but I'm still not sure. I'm thinking I should just let heal for the year and re-think.

injuries and sickness suck.

last year I was sick for a whole month with bronchitis. it was awful. i still worked out but it was hell and frustrating.

everyone goes through it, there are ups and downs in fitness. just hang in there and work out your legs until your biceps heal. this way you will have a nice trunk and be able to come back strong in your upper body
 
I feel your pain bro. I got knocked off my bike and broke my wrist, had to have it plated back together, needless to say I couldnt train properly for a while. Hang in there!!!
