I think in a relationship it's vitally important that you recognize and have a willingness to satisfy your partner's needs (within reason, of course lol). Perhaps she's not in the mood much because hers are not being met either? If he's willing to go into it with that attitude that there's something not right on both sides (rather than putting her on the defensive) - AND if she's willing to acknowledge and work on her side of things, it's certainly possible things can turn around. But both have to be willing to communicate, and perhaps go outside their comfort zone - something I honestly rarely think ever happens between couples when it comes to sexual compatibility.
