Glute Ham Raise

of course my gym (YMCA) dont have a ghr, but what I do, like today, was to use an old Universal situp bench, all the way flat on the floor, and place my knees and feet at the end, then while sitting on my knees, go down until almost touching the bench. The bottom is the HARDEST PART....... Its pretty smooth most of the way down but that last 3-4 inches (with your back straight) is a real b!tch!!! but they work at least for me.... did like 4 sets of 8..
Would there be any other variations using this peice of equip?

The glute-ham machine is far superior to improvising. I have had to improvise in the past, and I can really tell the difference. Both in results and the fact that it is easier to come up from the bottom.

Completely agree....it was a world of difference after my GHR arrived. Now if I could just go pick up my Reverse Hyper that I had built a couple months ago I would be set.

YOU HAD BETTER HURRY UP AND GET IT!!!!

BFold said that he is going to start charging you rent for holding it!!!

just kidding man........ its great to see your back to posting....... we miss your insight and knowlege big man.
