Gelatin INSTEAD of Deca!!

The formula for helping joints is more volume and less work to failure, along with a tonne of EFA's, multivitamin minerals, and healthy food choices.

+1.

Only thing I can think to add to that is to pick some specialized exercises for those bothersome joints - I have bad rotator cuffs (yeah, not exactly a joint, but man, it feels like the shoulder joint is splintering), and added in some simple rotator cuff exercises using a shoulder horn. Major improvement.

Water aerobics and swimming in a heated pool are good as well.

I'd also suggest that the OP get the bothersome joints x-rayed. I thought my knees were effed up - only to find out that they're in great shape, but the supporting ligaments/tendons need specific work.

the key is rest and changes in the workout and not drugs
This is not all together a correct statement...It is pretty much proven that your joints will degrade with age...alot depends on diet, rest, and excersize, as to how fast that it happens, but it will happen.

As far as the products listed are concerned, The one I have used is called "Knox NutrA-Joint". It really works well. Another thing that I have noticed with this product is that my hair and fingernails grow faster while using this product.
I also have a 70 year old neighbor who has been using it for years, he is very active and even still climbs trees for deer hunting every year.

Also, sugar free Jello is a great snack or dessert and basically guilt free. You can add some Fat Free Cool Whip for dessert or low fat cottage cheese for high protein snack/dessert. I've been doing this lately. Thanks for the tip, RADAR! Hopefully, it will help with my arthritis, I can now hear and feel my left knee cracking together. I have bad arthritis is the left hip and left knee for about 10 years, injury related -- stiffness which actually causes me to limp, so I'm told (34 years old). But, thank God, it hasn't affected my squatting. Let's see if Jello helps.

glucosamine will take approx. 14 to 21 days to get into the system and to notice results...1650mgs is supposed to be the "magic" number ED. i use it in a multi- along with MSN and chondroitin...it works, the longer the better, i just get tired/lazy taking a million tabs a day...

Tell me about it....especially when on. This pill for that, that other one for this. Gotta love it though! When it is all said and done you gotta do what you gotta do...

Jello or Knox Gellatin is a long term commitment start and don't stop as you get older your body will thank you for it.

I have 2-3 servings of jello every week

RADAR

I have been mixing one multi serving sugar free Jello package with one packet of the flavorless Knox and eating that throughout the week along with my glucosamine, chondroiton supps.

RADAR, is that a feasible way to take in my Gelatin or should I supplement it differently?
