Fuck finals and fuck the cost of college

UA_Iron said:
people seem to think all this, but I can hardly say any of its true.

1. I didnt do jack shit in san diego - I dont do jack shit in tucson, not a whole lot has changed.
2. UofA is a much better school than the CA state schools I got into - except for maybe Cal Poly Pomona which could be comparable, but Pomona sucks ass and the college there sucks ass too.
3. I needed to get away from home, my lifestyle was too destructive.
4. Most of the people here are from Phoenix, or Southern California.

If I stay in Arizona I'll move to Phoenix.

I suppose you've got your reasons.......

Phoenix is a nice area to settle down, the cost of living is low and the job market is HUGE. If you can handle the heat in the summer, it's not big deal. Also, the winters are smooth and easy.....I'm planning on running a sick DNP cycle this next winter to see if I can avoid the sweatbox syndrome.

General ed. classes definately bite, but alot of them are easy grades. And don't make the mistake of going philosophy for your humanities. I just finished a class on Plato's Republic that I thought would be an easy grade. That class just about kicked my ass!!!

Yes.

I thought Logic would be an easy class.....that shit was like math all over again.....it required more of my energy than any of the other classes.

Also, the instructor sucked, and couldn't teach.........half the class dropped because he wasn't teaching anything.

My girlfriends mom thought the same way about gen. ed. classes... So, she was accepted to college before graduating high school, even though she refused to take gen. ed. classes. Then, she wouldn't take the other liberal arts stuff in college and managed to get into Medical school before finishing her college degree. In the end, she has no high school diploma, no bachelors degree, but she has an MD and is one of the most respected OB/ Gyns in the country for the last 30 years... needless to say that she did very well in the classes she took, but it's sad that now people are required to take all these bullshit gen. ed. classes.... it is a waste of time...

I was thinking about giving DNP a run in the winter too. It'd be a deathwish to do it during the summer.

I got rocked by logic this semester, 4 tests - 80,88,60,and this last one prolly a 75....I so thought I was going to get an A or B in there when class started.....this C brings my GPA this semester to a 3.29 leaving me .01 short of my GPA requirements for next semester so I gotta take summer school (which fucks up my work)
