Fuck finals and fuck the cost of college

EF Secret.. I was Junior and Senior Class President of my college. I ran the Judicial Board too. that is until I was removed from office :)

Im going to school to get a peice of paper that says I started something and I finished it. Hopefully, if I get out of school and my grades are still high, I will be able to get into Baylor's Law school. If not, I will have no problem working right along side of my dad as a contractor. He makes a damn good living without ever getting a 4yr degree. He worked as a draftsman for close to 15yrs and was making around 75k+ a yr when he was laid off. Now he makes a lot more than he did working 8-5 each day, and has more time. Go figure, I have learned life-long lessons from my teachers. College isnt fun, but, it is what you make it. If you get up everyday telling yourself, man I hate this I dont wanna go to school, do you think it will better your situation?

A Maters IN School Psychology does not require a Master's Thesis, rather a semester or year-long internship (at the University I attend anyway).

But yeah, If I went for a straight Psych degree, it would require a Master's thesis and yes I would find it difficult to complete but not because Im not smart enough. ;)

How do you plan to apply your MA in School Psych once you graduate?

Teaching at some level?

I enjoy going to school, it gets me out of the house.

What sucks is being 27 and a junior. Makes it harder to make friends because I can't spend a ton of time around campus or the dorms and what not, or hit up the parties. Responsibilities at home take up a lot of my time. If I would've gotten out of the Marine Corps single and without a family, I'm sure I'd have a bit more fun with school, and I'd already be done or close to it.

A Master's IN School Psych (Im not even sure if this is the degree Im going for, since I have only 4 classes and a thesis left for my M.A. Psych) allows you to be a School Psychologist. i.e. perform tests (IQ tests, personality tests, etc) and diagnose kids in the school setting.

Ideally I would like a Master's in School Guidance Counseling. That would be a great job for me. High School Guidance Counselor, or even an admissions counselor at a college.
God, Im awesome.

That's cool....you looking forward to that? Sure that's what you want to do?

Children are not Smurfs......I hope you make that distinction! :o

If you're paying the same amount either way, why would you leave California?

I can't understand that.

Especially for Tucson.....that place is boring.....if you were set on AZ, you should have gone to ASU.....there's alot more to do in Tempe.

As far as the women go, most of them are from the east coast or California......such a variety, all races, all colors, all shapes, all flavors.

people seem to think all this, but I can hardly say any of its true.

1. I didnt do jack shit in san diego - I dont do jack shit in tucson, not a whole lot has changed.
2. UofA is a much better school than the CA state schools I got into - except for maybe Cal Poly Pomona which could be comparable, but Pomona sucks ass and the college there sucks ass too.
3. I needed to get away from home, my lifestyle was too destructive.
4. Most of the people here are from Phoenix, or Southern California.

If I stay in Arizona I'll move to Phoenix.

That would hurt more than a little.

I was j/k dude, I liked most of my gen-ed classes and picked up some interesting info from them.

Political Science was awesome, I kicked that classes ass while all the poly sci majors were complaining about how hard it was...I didnt do jack in that class either.
