I just read at NTBM that he was found dead in his apt. Not sure of details as of yet. This was posted by shrimps ole lady for that is the screen name. If this is a joke I think it's sick and a mod can delete this! But I'm taking it at face value as of now and thought I would pass it on for I knew he use to be here. My prayers are with his family and friends.....
 
i went over and read the thread - we need more info here - who has his phone number, somebody try and call him to see if this is a joke
 
bunch of people here know his phone number, I'm not one of them..best I can do is see if anything is on facebook
 
if it's a joke its spread to his facebook page like wildfire :(

I didn't know him (other than his posts here), but it brings to mind something about forums and chat rooms that we might all want to think about. Anywhere else in life, we know other people in the lives of people we know. For instance, maybe there's a girl who works at a restaurant, and we don't know where she lives, or maybe not even her last name. But if she suddenly disappears, we can ask the other employees or something. When someone disappears off a board as in this case, or a rumor goes around, there's no way to know anything. I blabber out enough about my personal life, that anyone could find me if they really wanted to, LOL. But the other fact is, if I closed my account here suddenly, or if anyone just suddenly stops posting, all the members know is what was said over the years, and maybe the screen names of a few eFriends.

At least for members with a FB page, it's easier to find out what happened to them, I guess.

If this rumor is true, Rest in Peace, and condolences to the family and friends... And if not true, it's an ugly thing to do to him and family and friends!

the FB thing doesn't matter anyway guys - his profile is pretty private so unless you're his friend you can't see anything. :(

Very sad indeed....even thou were on these type of boards and don't see each other face to face (rarely) it's always sad to see someone pass that you feel like is a distant friend.....

Yeah, I wanted to say something to that effect as well. I haven't talked to him much lately, but I've probably been here on and off now for 3 years. :( This seems to happen too much around here the last couple of years.
 
I could see him perpetrating a prank like this. That's what I'm going to hold on to until I know otherwise.
 
It has been a great Sat until i read this post....you know i never met him ...nor talked to him other than on this site....but a real sadness came over me after reading this. R.I.P.

I don't think this is a prank.

Shrimp was a good dude at his core. He had his issues and a way to annoy the shit out of people, but he would have helped you in a second I you were down and out.

I'm really sad about this. RIP brother. I hope youre in a better place at a casino full of booze and hot asian ladies.

That's fucked up, because I hadn't talked to him in a while and he called me the other day while I was working. I didn't pick up and didn't get around to calling him back :confused:
 
I also just checked his accounts on my site and his alter accounts on this site as well as every account i know of that he has on any forum I have control over or pull on... He has not logged into a single on of his accounts since the 26th..

I had a number from a bro of his in NO who confirms this story that is all I know and all I will say. If it's a joke it has been taken to great lengths to cover all of the basis and contacts I had for Shrimp. I fucking hate this shit he was a good bro at heart any of you whom knew him as I did know this.
 
God this really sucks. I'm so sad about this. I just talked to him last Sunday, well he left me a voicemail then he texted me and in his txt msg it ends with "please call me" and I never did. gahhh

who can answer some of the questions we have about how this happened?????? this is just terrible.

I'm slightly weirded out, I know the dude was younger than me ... can't get into his profile (wanted to check past threads he'd created) but pulled up posts of his. He friggin' created a thread entitled "Hey MuscleMom" (which I never saw, I would have commented on it otherwise), not long before he stopped posting, and this was the first post:

I talked to him earlier this week for just a second. I was busy and told him I'd hit him back and never did He just wanted to shoot the shit last thing he said to me was call me back you red neck fuck I need to talk to you. Fuck me I told some of you guys before that shrimp used ef and n2bm to escape and just kick the shit with his bros. He honestly loved all of you guys anytime i wanted to curb stomp on of you bishes he wad always telling me how that person was a good bro and on and on. I really have a lump in my throat right now over this shit. I just hope my Buddy made peace with his maker before the end

Last I talked to him he was all lit up having a blast at Harra's (sp?) telling me he had the perfect place for mardi gras and I should come on down. I bullshitted with him so many times on the phone while either one of us was just doing bullshit it was like one of my friends here I never see but just have time to catch up with. He had his demons, but I'm really not one to talk. Mine just take longer to bring you to hell I guess. He could be a pain in the ass, but really was a good guy. He just never had that push in the right direction when he was young. I'm sad and I feel a loss.
 
He has been calling me and said he needed to talk to me.
He didn't seem right to me. I did text back and forth with him and he was talking crazy about his usual stuff.
I did not call him back at all and it looks as if this is real I guess.
Many of you know his real name. Is there a way to confirm it? He was on a bad path for sometime, but at heart he was a friendly guy.
If he could have behaved himself he would still be here. It is unfortunate we couldn't have kept him around. This is very sad and it makes you realize that we are all more than e-friends in a way. We are real people and we all know eachother quite well without meeting one another.

Even though he and I didnt get along I always admitted that he seemed like a guy with a great heart, and I know that he had many folks who truly loved him.

Condolences.
 
If anyone knows his full name you can look him up in the New Orleans Times-Picayune obituaries to try and confirm. Or PM his name to me and I will look for it
 
Just from curiosity, I searched the last 3 days' obituaries in the New Orleans Times-Picayune, and there was only one possible; Kenneth Donnelly, age 20, and I think that's too young. All the others were much older (or sadly much younger). I don't know how they do it at that newspaper, but most papers only publish paid obits, which must be placed by family or the funeral home. Some papers have a county death notice log, but I didn't see one for New Orleans. So this means that in papers with only manually-placed obits, plenty of deaths pass by without anything written.

He was 40. Shrimps old lady which is her screen name at NTBM posted her phone number there and said call her. So I don't think she would do that if it were not true.

i used to fux around with shrimp but i had alot e-love for his crazyself..

crazy how we feel the pain for people we never meet in real life..proves its more then just sn's on a website

I was hoping for a prank when I first saw this. When I saw sb's post that it was real my heart dropped into my stomach and my eyes welled up. He and I clashed a lot but reading all of these posts about him calling and wanting to talk...fug. I feel ill. Pain in the ass or not, I'm deeply saddened by this.

I checked too and I didn't see his name. If he passed Friday it'll likely be in there tomorrow. Hopefully someone posts one up for him :(
