First time injecting Sustanon...Is this normal?

First off , let me thank you for taking time to help.

Started my second cycle yesterday. It is Sustanon/Win-v/ D-Bol/Prop/Nolva.

Did my first injection of Sustanon in my left Delt yesterday. It hurt like crazy and I fully expected the injection to hurt. Later on that night the pain was crazy and a small knot formed. I have no redness and the site is not warm, so I do not think it is infected, but the not is quite uncomfortable and painfull.

Is this normal? I read other threads about sustanon, but would like some reassurance that my shoulder is not going to explode.

Thanks in advance for your time. I look forward to your response..

Everyone's experience is unique, but most experience some type of pain from sust injections. For me, they are the most painful. I get swelling and a lot of pain. I only inject it in the glutes.

Infection is typically characterized by swelling, redness, and heat. Based on your description I doubt it's an infection - just the joy of sust.

Yup, that's just sust taking it's toll.

Wow, that was quick! Thanks for the great responses guys..

I have a small golf ball sized knot. It is uncomfortable, but no serious pain. Has anyone had this type of knot?

Sust is a painful shot. Did you move the need at all??? That could have inflamed the area even more. Also, try rubbing the area w/a warm compress for a bit. It may loosen up.

Thanks so much for all the help...it puts my mind at ease. Any idea how long the pain./knot will stick around?

Any other advice for a Sustanon Rookie?

Thanks again..

I have found the best thing for alleviting injection site lumps is to inject deep (for me that means atleast a 1" pin in the shoulders...)

Some great advice...I always use the pins you suggested, regardles of site.

For sust I always use a 23g 1.5" pin and inject in the glutes - alternating sides each time. After loading the syringe you can heat the oil by putting the syringe near a light bulb. That makes it easier to inject, and slightly less painful. Hold your hand steady while doing the injection. Any movement can increase inflammation. Following the injection, massage the site for about 1 minute.

As for your knot, take a hot bath and soak it and massage the site. It will be there for anywhere from a few days to a week. The more you massage it and soak it, the quicker it will go away.

You will still feel pain from glute injections, but it's minimal compared to delts and quads.

Thanks for all the info. friend...I will put it all into practice..:)

try warming the vial under running water before you draw it up, and apply a little heat to the site after the injection. Should help with the pain.

mmm....next time you should have somebody who know how to inject correctly dude!

Why are you saying it was not done correctly this time? The pain I am experiencing is not a result of the method of injection...it sounds like this is the norm with Sustanon.

Why would you say different?

try taking your shot after getting out of the shower the skin is more moist & flexible and it seems the pain is much more minimal then at that time.

RADAR

i agree with radar, i always do my shots right after the shower, your muscles are also more relaxed after a shower, plus youre nice and clean

You guys are great..thanks for all of the great advice. The post-shower injection makes allot of sense!

As I mentioned before I am doing Sustanon, D-Bol, Prop + win-v. I belive I already know the answer, but is the Nolvadex an absolute. I do not want to risk gyeno., but is it a must?

Get some liquidex to inhibit aromatase. Have nolvadex on hand in the event that you encounter a problem. You can also use it as part of your post cycle therapy.

I am not familiar with liquidex? Can you give some info?

The problem is I am having a hard time finding any Nolva, is liquidex easier to find?

If you get bad pain from sus, do not shoot anywhere but glutes. IMO I get bad pain and will not shoot anywhere else with sus.

I will never inject Sust. in my delt again...but will I have the same pain in my glute?

It will still be sore... but comes w/the territory!! When you get a chance... try Stromba Winstol... 100mg... now THAT IS PAINFUL!!

:bawling:

Here are the "rules of thumb" that have worked for me.

I have used Sus 250, Test, Prop, Test Enan, EQ, Deca, Winny and Tren for injections. Primo is a whole other story.

For glutes use a 23G, 1.5" syringe and push it in all the way (only push it it in 1" - or 2/3 of the way - if you don't have much fat on your glutes).

For site injections I use a 25G, 1" syringe and follow the same protocol as I do for 23G syringe injections.

I always take about 30 - 45 seconds to slowly push the oil in and I never wiggle or let the syringe drift in or out even a millimeter!

You must keep the needle in all the way, not wiggle and push the oil slowly into the injection site. A steady hand is often key to whether the injection will be painful or not, but not always.

It sounds as though you didn't shoot your Sus 250 deep enough into the muscle and a knot formed in the subcutaneous fat layer.

Also why are you doing Test Prop AND Sus 250 at the same time? Wouldn't you want to switch from Sus 250 to Test Prop in the last 2 or 3 weeks of your cycle to better control your Test levels at the end? it seems like a waste to use the Test Prop now as long as you have enough Sus 250 on hand. Just curious.

Lots of great advice ...thanks for taking the time.

To answer your question, I am doing an 8 week cycle and the 250mg. of Prop. is only intoduced once a week in weeks 3, 4, 5
+6.

Here is a breakdown of my current 8 Week cycle...

Sustanon 250mg.---once a week every Monday X 8 weeks
Win-V 50mg---twice a week on Mondays and Fridays X 8 Weeks
Prop. 250mg.---Once a week on Fridays in weeks 3,4,5+6 ONLY

D-Bol tabs---
Mondays always 10 mg

D-Bol TabsTuesday-Sunday
Week 1, 15mg Daily.
Week 2 25mg.Daily
Week 3, 40 mgDaily
Week 4 50 mg Daily
Week 5 50 mg Daily
Week 6 40 mg Daily
Week 7 25mg.Daily
Week 8, 15mg Daily

This cycle was created by Mick Hart and has since been adjusted my him to fit my fitness goals. The Original called of an additional 200mg. of Deca on the Monday and lower doses of D-Bol. I am relativly new to much of the anabolic world, so I have no answer as to why the prop. is used on top of the Sutanon friend, but I have a great deal of trust and respect for Mick. His advice has always been top notch in my opinion. I do know that the amount of test I am using even at max levels in my cycle is no different them using 500mg. of Sustanon a week and I know many people that do that much and more.

If anyone has an answer I would love to hear it and any opinions on my cycle...

Thanks and I look forward to your response..

Good advice Bicepts...where were you 4 days ago when I was thinking..."Hell why not inject the Sust. in my delts?" ;)

i took sust for the first time last week . stuck in thigh it hurt for almost till this next shot. i rubed it and used a heating pad kind of helped. second shot i did myself in the upper glute it still sensitve but not painful. try there next time . my two friends who did the same in thigh and samre person gave us sust and shot they had like no pain. everyone i guess is different.

this thread is old but its important to mention if you inject sustanon and there is no pain afterwards then you probably have fake gear.

sustanon hurts, which is why you must mix it with another oil when you inject, that will lessen the pain. injected by itself there will be pain, muscles dont like it.

the first time I used it I injected in my deltoids cold turkey (didn't even warm the oil or stretch out the skin), and I was in excuriating pain for 2 days. it seems to help to warm the muscle ahead of time, and inject slowly and take ur time. but still you will have some pain no matter what. PS. Sustanon is good s*it, you will feel a difference within 2 days with your energy and strength
